    Is there going to be any way for us to have an option to export to YouTube Playables?

    There is an SDK page. https://developers.google.com/youtube/gaming/playables/reference/sdk

    I'm looking on how to implement the examples files that YouTube have and modify the construct html export to work with it. Also following their step-by-step guide to add the javascript code to let youtube and the player know that the game is ready to be play.

  • I'm in the process of making a simple Digital Audio Workstation and I'm stuck on how to export all the audio being played or chosen in a sequence as a .mp3 or .wav file. I have search everywhere I could think of how to do it in JavaScript, but only lead to recording audio from Microphone and saving it as an audio format. My only work around for this that I could think of right now is to do a screen record when the user wants to export their creation.

    If anyone know of a way, please let me know.

    Thank you.

  • You can have a variable on your active block and make that chick to see if it is touching any other block. Something like this:

    {Block is active; Block is overlapping titlemap; Block is not overlapping Block; has no touch}

    {Set block to inactive; Add 1 to score; create new block at x and y} else {send block back to x and y}

    hope this helps

  • Here is a great video on YouTube you can watch to give you some inspiration for in game graphics for your next project. https://youtu.be/226Nwq2CN5c?si=KGPNq-fDPnTR6Emm

    With the free web app like photopea, free tools like Gimp, online video converter to gif, things you have laying around, and your cellphone, your ideas to bring your in-game graphics could be achieved. It could also help you to animate your character movements to make it more smooth or realistic. For example you can record yourself walking and convert that into a gif and use that gif animation as reference to help you draw or animate your character like in the game Prince of Persia . https://youtu.be/sw0VfmXKq54?si=x-W_Il51qMIkukHe

  • This is possible but requires you to know a little bit about server-side stuff and or tokens. One of the main obstacles that you need to overcome is to be able to pick up any device and continue where you left off. This requires you to be able to store your data on a server and read from it.

  • As of right now there is no addons that can do that. The best way to do this is to use JavaScript.

    with a little internet search this is what I was able to find.

  • Ashly or anyone,

    IS there a possibility to have the SVG plugin to have a collision section like the sprite plugin like on collision with another object, is overlapping another object, is overlapping at offset, and ect.

    Don't want to just pin a sprite object to a svg object to just use those conditions.

  • The reason to as why not a lot construct 3 users make rhythm game is because of the music choices. You need good music to make a good rhythm game. Most good music are under copyright and paying a hefty licencing fee for each song could add up. Not many devs are good at making their own music or have the time to make the music and the game at the same time. You can indeed out source your music and have someone make it for you, but that will cost you money. Using public domain music can work too, but it can make your game kind of cheap. When using public domain music in your game, make sure it is the original composer and not of some-else rendition of the music. You don't want to end up putting someone work in your work and ending up having to have to your game taken down or paying the person who made the music you took. This is why making rhythm game so hard and complicated.

  • Check my new game in progress out and let me know what you think.

  • Xylody is a Xylophone Melody Maker where you can let the program make a melody for you or or you can live play your own melody.

    you can test out Xylody in the Scirra Arcade.

    https://www.scirra.com/arcade/music-games/xylody-34511

    * Add a help function so now people will know how to use or play.

    [=] Things like to add to the program in the future update:

    • Be able to export your melody to a .mxl file, so you can use a music notation software to play or look up your melody.

    • Be able to export your melody to a sound file, so you can have a copy of your melody.
