  • Hi.

Please I do not understand well ... what is the difference between photon.ActorNr and photon.MyActorNr?

  • I receive these two errors with your CAPX.

  • What other information do you need?

  • Problem Description

In the editor, the spacing bars in the "Bookmarks" window, "Properties" window and "Image points" window do not save the position assigned to them by the user.

    Attach a Capx

    Description of Capx

In the capx you will find the bookmarks window with an added bookmark.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Move the spacing bar in the bookmarks or in the properties window to see the bookmark's name better and properties names better.
    • Close C2.
    • Open the file again.
    • You will notice that the spacebar in the bookmarks/properties window did not memorize its position, so you must move it again to see the name of the bookmark.

    Observed Result

The spacing bar that allows you to better see the name of the bookmarks does not save its position when C2 closes.

The same applies to the space bar in the properties window.

    Expected Result

The spacing bars in the bookmarks/properties windows must save the position set by the user at the time of closing C2, of course the bar should recover the position assigned by the user.

  • Problem Description

In the editor, the behaviors tabs open automatically even though it was closed.

    In addition:

Nor does the favorites window remember the separation of the bars to make space for names

It's annoying to do this every time you open your project in C2:

    Bookmarks window

    Image points window

    Attach a Capx

    Description of Capx

The capx shows a blue screen sprite.

The sprite is assigned two behaviors.

In the section "behaviors" accesses "Platform" and closes its tab to hide the information of the behavior platform.

Select the blank in the editor.

    Select the sprite again.

Now the platform behavior tab appears open even though it was closed.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Select the sprite
    • Close the tab of platform behavior
    • Deselect the sprite
    • Select the sprite
    • See the tab of the platform behavior, it´s open

    Observed Result

The behaviors tabs open automatically when the sprite containing them is selected

    Expected Result

The tabs should remain closed until the user decides to open them.

The tabs should memorize the state that the user assigns

  • You can try the Photon Cloud plugin. I'm using it and find it way easier than the built in Multiplayer plugin. It doesn't really use the traditional Host/peer setup. So even if the "host" leaves the game is still running.

Here's a link to the plugin.

In my game i'm using random rooms of max 4 players. You just connect and start playing with random people from anywhere.

I know it a little, the drawback is the free user limitation.

20 users maximum at the same time, briefly.

I am currently using the official plugin, this has an error when chrome and safari play together.

Do you know if photon has this error?

  • It might be this Safari bug: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=173052

It's never very clear when Safari bug fixes make it to release...

    Thank you.

I understand that the error has been fixed but we do not know if the safari version that solves the error has been released.

    I'm right?.

    I am using a translator.

The last published version of safari was on February 23.

The error was reported in 2017-06-07.

  • Hi.

Does the multiplayer object have problems when Chrome and Safari are connected in internet?

For example in a game 1 vs 1.

    1 player with Chrome.

    1 player with Safari.

Should it work or is there a problem?

I'm having some failures with this and I do not know if it's because of my code or browser compatibility or other cause beyond my control.

If I test in local with Chrome it works fine.

If I try online Chrome with Safari works badly.

  • Hi, I have a problem with an array.

I am adding every 2 seconds a new element in X.

Then I write in the last element in row number 1 "bye".

I want to write the result of "bye" on the screen but I do not write it and I do not know why.

Why are not the values in row 1 written on the screen? I should write all the "byes" that are created.

    In the DOC

    I'm creating this:

The array initially has no columns, columns are created every 2 seconds.

    If I use array.width - 1 works.
