  • Hi!

I'd like to suggest a feature that could help many people there: the possibility (through an action or whatever) to ignore collision between two physical objects.

There is a topic here, in which I've described my problem:

    scirra.com/forum/ignore-collision-between-physical-objets_topic48028.html

At the beginning, I thought it was just something specific to my project but apparently, it could really help those who are (or will be) developing projects involving physics.

Is there a hope to see that kind of features included in a further release?

It would be really, really great.

Well, thanks in advance and have fun!

  • How to integrate such an useful feature to a next release?

Does the community have to ask/vote or is it hopeless? <img src="smileys/smiley30.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • It would be really really great... Wouldn't it? (<img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />)

  • Ok, I see :) :(

Am I the only one who would need such an action?

  • Hi,

I'd like to create different objets (same instances or not) with the "physics" behavior, but I'd want them to interact with the ground (bouncing etc.) but not with each others, like if there was no collision...

    Is it possible? (I hope so <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />)

    Thanks!!!

  • I think I just found a kind of solution, but if there is a plug-in... that's fine <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> thx!

  • Hi!

I'd like to display the number of points granted after each enemy killed. Currently, I just display the text and make it disappear... it's kinda rough.

But it was my first try, and what I'd really like to do is a kind of "animation" when the text appears, by increasing the font size from 1 to something big, and then make it decrease while fading out... (something I already do)

Is it possible to manipulate the font size like that?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

I'd like to know how to outline a font, just like what's done in this little unknown game:

    Is it possible?

    Thanks in advance !!

  • Hi everybody!!

Does a GUI plugin exist? (scrolling menus, animated GUI etc. that kind of stuff, I don't know exactly)

    Thanks in advance!

  • Wow, really interesting :) thank you!

  • Hi,

How could I make a "preview real-time trajectory" like, let's say... in Peggle.

I tried a gas factory method (with a trajectory composed of many physics elements, updated for each frame.. and it didn't work very well), but I think the very best way is a mathematical approch...

If someone had tested successfully something like that and accepted to share his knowledges... I'd be thankful forever <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Thanks everybody, I'll try that!
