  • I just had a talk with one of the Nintendo Wii U eShop recruiters and he really liked Super Ubi Land. So Notion is now able to develop for the Wii U but the only problem is that we need to raise 3 grand to buy one of the dev kits!

I'm planning on starting a kickstarter sometime in Feb for it but til then, I have dedicated a page on my website for any donations towards the dev kit.

There are tiers similar to what would be on KICKSTARTER... it's just not through KICKSTARTER.

    Thanks :)

  • A fellow Construct 2 dev. shared his with me today. Was happy to see Super Ubi Land's trailer shown in this video :D

TotalHalibut has over 800,000 subscribers... so that's pretty exciting!

  • Glad to hear you replaced the flipping. I would suggest you making the multiplier points much MUCH smaller. Right now they're so big they seem really distracting. Let the player see the points but don't make them so big :)

Keep up the great work and I Wish u the best with your game

  • Looks great. I heard about this game the other day. Ill upvote it

  • I love the look of this game!

NotionGames: Have you guys been in dicussions with the OUYA team and solidified that you will be able to eventually port this to the OUYA? Curious as to how this would be eventually bundled for that platform.

    Thank you!

I haven't heard much of anything at all from the OUYA people about how to get things up and running on it. I'm still unsure of when we'll actually be getting the dev kits. I'll keep everyone updated though

  • looks fun!

  • I finally got around to working on the main crash site where Ubi's ship will be. You basically are going around Climate Island looking for the pieces to restore Ubi's ship so he can leave planet Earth and make it home safely.

This area of the game has real mellow/moody music.

  • I just finished up the main starting point for the game. Ubi needs to repair his ship so he can leave earth and blah blah blah...

My point for this thread is basically concerning the particles. I noticed in Construct Classic that you are able to tint the particles certain colors and fade them to other colors. I wasn't able to figure out how to do it in Construct 2 so I'm wondering if it's possible to do so.

    Thanks

    Add Function object.

    In event sheet:

    Function: On "myFunc"

==> do what you want (use Function.Param(X) to get param)

Foo (e.g. Mouse: On Left button)

==> Function: Call "myFunc" (with param if needed)

    Thank you
