  • You could make the code like:

    set variable:

    "rgb("+str(102)+","+str(153)+","+str(255)+")"

    OR

    set variable:

    "rgb("+str(global('Variable1'))+","+str(global('Variable2'))+","+str(global('Variable3'))+")"

    FYI: The "str(Value)" means that the number is converted into a string.

  • Fixes*:

    ? Discovered a bug where the level rating wasn't showing because i forgot an extra condition.

    ? There where some bugs when invisible like animation, sound etc. This is fixed now.

    Improvements*:

    ? Re-designed Level 1 and 2 Backgrounds

    ? Hintboards included. Tutorial ingame, Hooray! ;)

    ? Pro-Mode included: No extra lives, just 5. No checkpoints, no continues. Pure Skill-Overkill!

    Progress*:

    ? First Bonus Stage added.

    ? Level 2-2 is now finished. It is a mining cart level with a labyrinth touch to it.

    ? Level 2-3 also finished. The most additional skripts of all levels yet!

    ? First Time-Trial stage done. 2 Player-Action ready, set go!

    *Fixes, improvements and progress listed here might not be implemented in the demo you can download here.

  • MMMhhh... the idea is good but:

    I can count the pixels with my 2 hands XD

    That's, even for oldskool games, to less pixels.

    I remember the Commodore 64 had more pixels on screen at one time.

    Some things i also found:

    ? The holes are bottomless and you have to refresh the browser

    ? The door does not open (I guess the demo is just that short :)

    The idea with the freezing is great and gives a reason to hurry. This could become a good game.

    Hi guys,

    I wanna present you the first Demo from my upcoming Platformer "Dot Dude: Diamond chase." This is actually an recreation from my game Circley. Since i was changing so many things like graphics, story and mechanics i also decited to change the name. But you know... Work in progress and nothings final at the moment. <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle">

    This Demo shows the main game mechanics and how you move around in the world. I wrote the "Engine" in about 2 weeks, also Sound-Design and other stuff. You can experience the first 3 Levels, a Bosstime and maybe something more if you want... and can ;)

    I hope you like and enjoy the demo like me programming it.

    Please comment and tell me your opionion.

  • Mhhhh.

    I couldnt let my game go away ;)

    So... I tried again.

    And its working for an hour now without a crash. The only difference between the old Setup is:

    I dont listen to music with the Windows Media Player.

    And i dont have opened my Corel Draw.

    For some reason this is the key to keep construct alive, even when editing and changing graphics and stuff.

    Hooray!

  • Ok, there isnt a solution for this problem...

    So my game goes into the trash :(

    Over one month of work wasted...
