• In that case, I'll give it a go!

  • Nope, not giving away my number ^^

  • Well, post it! I wish to see it!

*SIGH* Would you all like to see the unfinished version with the lame music which I will most likely be replacing?

Or I can keep working on it to get it in a state I'm happy with?

I can show you it so far, but I'm not too pleased with the music... not pleased at all really.

  • PM'd! The video can be changed and tweaked to peoples preferences anyway. I'll just post up on here a private link to the video so people can give feedback :)

  • Waiting anxiously!

LOL! Sorry guys, I'll try to get this finished this evening. I was stricken with man-flu a few days ago, so obviously I'm at death's door. Taken me a lot longer than expected. Also, I'm not 100% sure on the music I've selected, but it seems better than the others I've looked at, and it's royalty free so it can be used anywhere.

    Stay tuned!

  • Cheers! PM'd you back!

  • Phew, nearly done with this... Just Droid Ball to add in, and then I'm done. It's tricky getting decent gameplay when I'm trying to control both ships on my own. I wonder if the wife'll help... Nah, that would look worse...

  • Hi guys,

When I import my FLAC music, it converts it to M4A and OOG. Now this isn't much of a bother, but each file is around 1mb in size. I'm trying to keep the file size down to under 30mb so I can use Cocoon, but I'm just over at 31mb. Does anyone know why 2 kinds are needed? I assume its in case I want both Android and IOS, but I'd rather have a choice when exporting so I can keep file sizes down.

Does anyone have a decent way of sorting out music for mobile games?

  • I love my Steam account. I have dozens of games on there, and I love that they all come to one place. In fact, I try not to buy games that don't link to Steam. The convenience of having them all in front of me is just great, rather than searching through a pile of CDs, or looking through my emails for other codes and download links. It's also very secure, so I have no complaints.

Voting something down just because you dislike the ideology of Steam is just daft in my opinion.

  • Great! Note that you can also do this from within the animation editor. Simply open up the sprite, click onto the animation frames to the right (should show "default") and more info will appear to the left. This should save you having to do an event for it :)

  • Set the speed of the animation to 0 and try again :)
