  • Hello everyone.

    I'm testing my skills to speed up the productivity while using Construct 2.

    So, I decided to test it on a simple game, but this game become nice, and my friends told me to share it here.

    Feel free to say what you think about, and suggest what can improve and what you hated! Any tips would be appreciated!

  • hey Kyatric or Yann is there a way to download movies somehow?

    Unfortunately for some time now I have strange issues with youtube on my pc (it throws me an error in chrome an ie every time I want to open any video or even download it, and can't find solution to fix this) and watching twitch consumes my bandwidth a lot. I have only mobile internet with harsh limits during the day but it's free and with no limits at night.

    I'am asking cause session I've watched live last week took almost half of my monthly limit - that was a nice surprise :D

    Also, placing the movies on the youtube is helping a lot, because I'm not so fluent in english to hear and understand, so, there I have the subtitles to help a little bit ^^

    I voted for a debugger. Yes, if I only want to trace variables I use textBox or Chrome console, but the real benefit of using a debugger is to step through events one by one and see the state of the SOL and variables at a specific moment in time.

    I really don't like the way search function works in C2. I want to see all the events, not filter them, instead I want my keyword highlighted.

    Also a good option will be to highlight all the instances of the object or variable on which i clicked.

    I had almost give up on C2 only 1 month after purchase for the lack of a debugger, but now I see that Scirra team is working real hard to satisfy most of us.

    I actually do it using textbox, where is the difficult? And I think the most part of the users from this community never did more complex games than me, using simple textbox.

    Please, don't throw so far the textbox if you're unable to extract the best of this feature.

    Per happen, will be nice to have this feature alive someday, to help the newer users.

    My understanding is you must set the option to "best" so that it will only update your score if it exceeds the previous one. In other words, it will not add another score, it will just change the old one, to the new best one.

    It's already configured, it's not working.

    After you store by the first time a score, it never more update, so, if you make a best score, the leaderboard still showing your first one.

    The tilemap feature would make my life easier a lot, also, officially supporting common tiled map formats can give Construct 2 a good advantage over the concurrence, but all the features suggested are very well suggested =

    About the multiplayer, I can see too much trouble coming with it, and 6 months of hard work, while everybody else will be waiting for minor features. But doesn't matter, everything you do is good, and I'm sure you will never feature something bad finished.
