  • Yeah, I know for sure at one point I was getting errors whenever I did it... I wonder if it is still unsupported?

    EDIT: ahh, it is all clear now. You only need one of each object type in ONE layout.

  • I was just wondering what is happening with the issue of not being able to spawn instances of objects that are not present in the layout.

    It makes sense to be able to spawn any object in the project, and this feature would be a HUGE help for level editing.

    Of course it probably is a technical problem that I have no experience with, but I was just wondering how that is going/if scirra intends to fix.

    EDIT: It seems I just spawned an object not on the current layout...

    Either Scirra fixed this under my nose or I an very ignorant ;)

  • Awesome! So Ashley just to clarify, will we be able to officially integrate their statistics, achievement, etc. API's while being able to export into a convenient format?

  • If C2 games look slow, it is simply the fact that HTML5 is new. Thankfully websites/devices are catching up quickly, which means games will be faster and faster as time passes.

  • Ashley - it looks like Kongregate's support for HTML5 is official now. Does that mean we will get a plugin coming? I would surrender myself as slave for Scirra forever if that be true... Well perhaps just tell all my friends you C2 is awesome... Wait, I've already done that O_o

    Anyway, a kongregate plugin which lets us integrate with their API and export in a format for them would be INSANELY useful.

    If you want it smoother, talk to Yann about angle lerping... I tried his method but it did not work out for some reason.

  • Here is what I came up with - Angle lerping would be preferable but I couldn't pull it off and angelerp() has not been added.

    Also, love the idea of the game - I would have never thought to combine a melon and a whale ;)

  • Me too... on the surface it looks like you are actually limited in the sounds and music you can import.

  • Arima, those are my thoughts.

    I just could not think of any way for rotation/resize of individual objects to be useful, whereas treating the group of objects as a whole seems more intuitive and useful.
