  • Personally, I think this is really not that necessary, thanks to copy/paste. I would work on more important features first (functions/OR) instead of what looks like it could get very confusing!

  • Ashley fixed this selection of the background to make the bug (won't work in preview), the question is whether it is still a problem in an iframe...

  • Looks excellent? Have you tried a stress test to see how far it can go (i.e. multiple objects tracking a moving object).

  • I'm so sad I didn't open construct 2 on April 1. :(

  • Set layer scale, or set layout scale, is what you want.

  • Umm, StephenC, it is my belief that Chrome 18 fixed the bug in iframes as well... Am I not correct?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I think the current version is fine, really.

  • Hmm, the demo doesn't seem to do it for me, although I recall it happening once.

I forgot to mention, the problem is happening in preview mode for me. I'll let you know how it goes when I export a version.

  • Weird problem! Ah well, most games have moving objects anyway ;)

  • I noticed that when I attempt to call fullscreen (crop mode) through the browser object in Chrome, it goes fullscreen, but I see ugly white borders around the game and the taskbar is still visible at the bottom of the screen. If the Chrome window is minimized beforehand, the game goes fullscreen as expected.

  • Considering Scirra seems to be aiming more towards Appmobi, it seems important that this feature be available within appmobi also.

  • Hey Scirra, I have a bit of a suggestion, which is important now that fullscreen gaming has been encouraged.

If I am trying to make my game work fullscreen, I can see that many of my graphics are now too small, and are blurry when scaled up to fill the screen.

If I want to replace my graphics with identical graphics of a larger size, all of the sprites within the layout will of course suddenly blow up to a huge size, and these have to be manually resized back down to what they were before.

An option to preserve the original size on the layout of newly high-resolution graphics would be very welcome indeed!

The only problem I can see with this is what would happen if someone tried to replace the graphic with an image of a different aspect ratio.
