You never have tried to work in a team, have you.
A hundred people will have a hundred opinions and will discuss every last detail.
Even if there's a team leader whose role is to make the final decision in the end that the team will have to go by, it's just how design teamwork works and it makes it a lengthy process at times.

Yeah, never tried to join/form any team of more than 3 people. In which case everyone had their role and would not mess with each other's work, well... unless asked. However, it was for game dev., I have never worked in a team for software dev. though and I know it's different. This would happen even when under contract? I mean, if someone is paying me and they have written legal rules which I sign, I'd would think I'd better not break them. Like I said, I've no idea, just going in general...
