  • be sure your file is on the sound folder and be SURE the name in the events is the SAME as the audio file , for example folder Sounds> boom.wav = in events play "boom" every 1s

  • But yeah Intel xdk sucks its a problem du to that patform, but is no solution Ludei is not a free platform, so....i see no other solution for Android. :s and Crosswalk Android are also SLOOOOW THAN A TURTLE!

  • i found a solution XD it's better than nothing ,in construct 2 export to cordova SELECT THE RIGHT OS for your android mine is "Jelly Bean", and then inside intel xdk EXPORT to "CROSSWALK ANDROID", then when you get your zip file, use the apk x86 who is inside and export that apk to your android, for me its better but still lag, i also find two interresting pages talking about this problem

    if you DONT use Crosswalk Android THEN you get in trouble with OGG files and sound who are NOT played with Android

  • The solution for THIS problem is :

    when you want to export for Android with cordova FIRST move ALL your ogg files from the MUSIC folder to the SOUNDS folder, then export and it works perfectly

  • Hey i have the same issue :s and my game has just 1 small sprite and 1 level with moving platforms resolution 800x480 for android

    games in Preview mode in construct2 are fast, but when exported with intel xdk to android BAM its terribel slooooooooooooooow impossible to play

  • yes i export to cordova and then i convert (build) that to apk with intel xdk, and when i play my game BAM no sound at all

    in my game i converted mp3 to OGG 192kbs inside construct2, in PREVIEW mode the ogg file is played, but AFTER when i export that to Android ogg sounds are note played by my mobile.

    im working on my little game, i found two musicians for my project here ,and now the game is evolving well.

    Now because i have my designs almost done, musics, and sounds fx, im looking for something specific.

    a Voice over artist who can make voices like the game Worms, thoses kind of little cute voices.

  • yeah i solved this problem by changing the polygons collision to default and it works....but dont know why...

  • WATCH THIS:

    First picture url is the ORIGINAL sprite with his original collision polygons and the result is, all the bonus "gold" are on the top of the platforms

    This is what happens when you CHANGE the collision poly, AL the game is corrupted the Bonus "gold" objects are created at wrong places...

    I don't think this is LOGIC !!!!

  • OK i FOUND the problem this is the most WIERD

    IF i change the collision polygons of the ground2 object THEN all the bonus are spawned a the wrong places....WHY????

    Solved this by just re-doing the collision polygon for the platform
