  • actualy it is. i had a word with the author of that beauties. The core design he does on vectors graphics, then he adds the details by hand, pixel-by-pixel style.

    and actualy i am about to post the alpha version on the forums today(of my game).

    No real gameplay as the one i have is just too ulgy to look at it lol.

    I just need to carve some notches and run some debuging.

    If ill manage to finish it today, youll see a new topic comming from me for sure :)

  • AS much as i suck at creating any type of graphic assets i do envy and love the talents of some pixel artists.

    Recently ive come across a veyr interesting artwork and designe of a battleship class spaceship sprite.

    The amount of details is just mindblowing. And as i am in the process of creation of a space based game myself, i could only sit and cry that i cannot afford services of this genius pixel wizard.

    love the artstyle. I cannot belive you created them by hand in CC image editor O_O

    GF, you should make this into full leight game. or maybe one of these "idle games" that plays themself?

    with forest, lakes, fruits on the trees, animals going for the water, dying from age, reproducing etc.

    and give the player an option to create any type of objects to rule the destiny of the creatures. player playing the role of god.

    would be a very cool sanbox game :)

  • i vote for Polish heh. All ive seen are datad, dead or sh*tty.

  • loved it. but the aiming took some time to get used to. but that exlosions and weapons... nothing ever since gave me THIS amount of satisfaction when blowing things up.

    And who says people are good by nature lol?

    Oh and the storyline and cinematics pawns most of nowadays games.

    Of course th graphics are dated but the content - hell no!

    i still dream about 3rd part in 3D with next gen graphics... :(

    anyway I'm Polish and can speak/write/read in English. Obviously google translator is my biggest helper with funky or proper technical words, but not using that very often though.

  • preety much as the rest of the team. My native is Polish but i can understand most of what i recive. But the typos and spelling and grammar mistakes - hoho! thats my speciality :)

    i understand everything. But not always i know what do reply or how. lack of vocabulary perhaps.

  • yes, exactly - for everything. so its leaves me with a choice of "sound" or "no sound".

    Can you split the master volume into Music Master and SFX Master? preety please :)

  • If you are using sprite with 8-dir movement you can create Tiled Background object around game window (outside the layer) and make that object solid.

    No event, no coding :)

    yes but the sprite will get neurotical attack whenever he'll hit the solid obstacle. with my method he'll just nicely stop without suddenly going apes***t <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    but bottom line is - yes, both methods will work just fine.
