I don't think it needs a new exporter, simply export with HTML5 and add new assets according to atari.com/sites/all/themes/atari_dev_center/articleAssets/Atari.SubmissionGuide.pdf there no need to edit runtime .js, simply add images for arcadeArt and create a manifest JSON file.

Then, compress them to .zip and upload, that's all.

(I haven't tested it, but try it)

Yeah ! But don't forget that big images take more space and more performance than tiled-backgrounds with the same size ! So If you want stable performance and big backgrounds or terrain , I suggest multiple objects or 1 tiled-background !

I doubt a big image by one sprite causes peformance... i don't think it's real.

Only the count of sprites may vary the peformane

Don't use WebGL and special plugins like spritefont because it has something special API that didn't work on CocoonJS and BB10

Just post .capx we will see what is the problem, i've made a game which uses continous scroll background without bug and i get 22-31 fps on my iPod touch 4

Ashley Construct Classic had 3D object plugin, so why everyone loves 3D object which is rotating like a planet.
It doesn't mean 3D is better than 2D, just are part of graphics, i personally believe 3d object would be potential for C2. I'm not talking full 3D with cameras, just 2.5D

I don't know why you wouldn't add 3D object, so what if you can beat game maker?

Find 3D js libraries what it suits your needs, you judge them, some libraries support WebGL or Canvas
