  • why not set the origin on the left and add an imagepoint on the right and have sprite itself spawn the new sprite at imagepoint 1, then set the frame to random.

  • If you'd like to do it the way you would code it, you could do something like this:

    give the block a boolean forth

    block is forth - block set x : block.x + 1

    block is not forth - block set x : block.x -1

    block compare x = 250 - block toggle boolean forth

  • If I'm correct this "bug" was solved in the latest beta's. If you use r155 or above you should be fine.

  • Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm guessing you didn't create the sprites you use yourself.

    Have you asked permission to use them and/or are the designers of the sprites credited in your games?

    Even if you are not making money from your games you could be breaking copyright laws by using them, so I just thought I'd ask.

    The capx by rampackwobble seems to work perfectly, but I understand it isn't suited for your needs.

    You get your value from the date plugin and can get it to appear on screen, you said. If you can get it on screen, how come you can't get it into a variable?

    You say you are adding a sprite when the enemy is attacking, do you mean that you added an attack-animation to your enemy-sprite?

    You are creating new enemies every 3 seconds, this I understand.

    You also added a sprite for when the enemy is destroyed. Is this a new sprite you spawn, or is this an animation of the enemy sprite?

    I don't understand the part of the newly created enemies, I'm sorry.

    I think you might mean that the destroyed sprite is happening to all your enemies, but that shouldn't happen if you pick the right sprite. Could you share your events if this is the case?

  • delgado, couldn't you use the example RamPackWobble gave and adjust it to your own needs?

    It shouldn't be too hard to do that.

  • Is the map one sprite? Using a sprite that big is never good practice.

  • set the animation speed to 0 in the animation properties.
