  • Hi guys, i didn't updated for a long time but i will soon.

About the dead links, there's not much i can do (need people to report eventually)

Don't worry for the sticky i'll ask a mod once update is done

Ps. There's no "spoil" option on the forum ? that would be great for the list lisibility

  • Awesome textures, especially the metal grates & crates ones,

thats exactly what i needed !

    Thanks for sharing! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • 2shared.com/file/-YOU7fKE/ConstructClassic_r1-2.html

Here it is (on 2shared cause i dont want to register on 4shared yet)

  • Creativity, atmosphere, environment and music

Agree, i think these are the most important things.

The most memorable games to me were always the most immersive ones.

for the road, i'm adding : Charismatic characters, with real personnality and background

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • in Construct Classic, for example, you can do amazing things with thousands of sprites, zooming, rotation and shader effects

Yes thats what i want to see more often, more games that look pro and very appealing, theres only a very few of them on most of indie games sites

if they really suck at graphics they could use some license-free graphics, theres ton of these over the net

but well thats not my problem afterall =p

tulamide : Thanks for the precision, i always tend to see the indie game dev as a one man army

  • Little update <img src="smileys/smiley12.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Sidenote : I'm only adding examples above the last edit time of this topic, i'm not checking olders/updated pages anymore.

Post here if you want something to be changed

  • Thanks, i've read some articles and that's very interesting. However i dont get why most of indie games dev stick with 1980 pacman rip-off graphics...

with such amazing powerful software we have nowadays.. that's beyond my understanding

  • Draven, this is <img src="smileys/smiley35.gif" border="0"> awesome.

It reminds me gloodle a bit

    wondertouch.com/gloodle.asp

  • Good job ! mind if i add links to these threads in my example&tutorials list ?

  • Yo, just to say that GIMP 2.7.3 (development build) has been released at

    PortableApps.com

    portableapps.com/news/2011-08-30_-_gimp_portable_development_2.7.3

It include new features and the long-awaited Single window mode <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • : Honestly i can't tell, that was some months ago already.

    Anyway!

    I just made a test:

Virtual box (only windows and nothing more) -> Cameyo -> Installed construct -> packaged with cameyo (around 80mega)

    • DOESNT WORK on a restarted clean virtual box
    • WORKS on my true PC (where directX is installed)

Virtual box (only windows and nothing more) -> Cameyo -> installed directx -> installed construct -> packaged with cameyo (around 140mega)

    • WORKS on a restarted clean virtual box
    • WORKS on my true PC

NOTE : I dont have .NET installed on my virtualbox right now so i cant edit package (means packaged construct cant write files outside of the sandbox!!!)

  • I didnt tried with construct, but so far, the 4-5 apps i packaged with this tool (Cameyo) are all ok. Why ?
