• I'm missing something on point number 2.

What do you mean by "return back to sprite editor for a smaller sprite 50x50 pixels" ?

Make a new sprite ? Open the previous sprite and open a 50X50 sprite in it ?

    Also what image format ?

I tried with sprite in png to the dimensions you said, icons are still visible.

Also what is your monitor resolution and are your graphic card drivers up to date ? (What is the graphic card too btw ?)

Could you provide a capx and precise steps /how to reproduce the bug please.

So far I've been unable to reproduce it.

  • Well I'm not familiar with the fade behavior. As stated above it feels a bit incomplete. So far I've handled all my fades in events groups.

Nice to see a 2 events solution.

  • Hahaha nice ending line ^^

Pretty cool. I made it on my first try, the truck seems pretty stable, and it's coherent.

My second try, I rushed to the end, and went so far in the air I went over the finish line and wasn't stated that I had finished ^^

That's a cool prototype, you should make far more levels/level editor/etc... (you know the usual ^^)

    I had fun, I want more !

  • Some solution

Tbh I'm not that maths savy. So there will surely be better implementations proposed.

This does the trick more or less, but is not perfectly seamless in the rotation.

Anyway, hope it gives you some clues.

  • gmx0: File extensions. This may have to do with the archive you're trying to upload. Is it well a .zip file, exported from C2 with the "Scirra arcade" option ?

Be sure to check the steps in this tutorial.

Sorry if you did everything as intended, I haven't tried yet to upload files to the arcade so that's the only support I can propose for now.

Tom will surely soon get in touch with you otherwise.

  • Got it.

It sounded like a misuse of the scale rate property.

    Let Weishaupt confirm.

This wasn't the bug you were looking for

Welcome aboard, hope you'll have a good time with C2.

  • newt, xanxion: I couldn't get chrome to preview either, so Ashley put a "custom browser".

Open the preferences panel and in the field "custom browser" put the location of your chrome browser.

    (on my computer: "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe")

  • this is also something Scirra should think about, if there's a way to prevent that - maybe an "inflight" Errormessage?

In the better of worlds, that would be cool.

Now down to earth in 2012. How do you pull that off ? ^^

It is some sort of real time code analysis that would have to understand the logic you wanted to implement as opposed to the logic you actualy implemented.

I don't think such an AI process is doable by a startup-of-two.

Don't get me wrong, it would be damn awesome. But as far as reality goes, it is unlikely it will see the light of day.

  • Hummm using the scrollbar of the browser itself, not sure.

But you can implement your own scrolling system (with the scroll to behavior or the scrollX and scrollY system expressions as well as the tutorial I quoted in my previous post).

You would then have to set your own scrollbars within your layout as part of your HUD.

  • In the how do I FAQ there's a little section "Multiplayer/Networking". You might want to check it out too along all links smitchell nicely provided you.

smitchell: check my signature and go to "posting tips". Hope it will help you get your links running good
