  • Not as easy as i thought it would be!

At the moment, the app lets you do the following -

    1, Set the background image.

2, Change the individual frame images.

3, Pick different sounds for swapping, matching and destroying.

4, Create timed or random levels.

5, Create a new game folder containing the exe. file, images sounds that can be distributed.

Managed to sort the main bits, just need to add some extra stuff like bonuses and levels.

  • Couple of screenshots of a Match3 game bulder i am working on.

The game(app) lets you create unique Match3 type game's using a simple wizard type interface.

The logic and events are based on PixelRebirth's match3 tutorial....so many thanks to him.

The following cap is just a simple example of a game created with it.

  • Do you prefer having an external image editor? I can add an option for that if you like.

It would help to have this option, rather than opening and closing programs just to make change's to a texture.

  • It was changed in last release. Creating/editing sprites now opens up internal image editor - you can only load your graphics here cause proper painting tool is still in development.

    Thanks.

    I am a bit confused ?

Using the last build i had installed (might be 43) i double clicked in the layout to insert a sprite. If i wanted to to edit the sprite, i double clicked on it, made the changes, then saved it.

In the latest build(r46) this doesn't happen, it open's Constructs internal image editor, but this only has crop, flip, resize etc.

How do i edit the actual textures ?

Sorry if i am missing something or not explaining the problem correctly.

  • When i try to edit a texture it opens the new test edit window.

How do i change it back to my normal editing software.

I didn't want to create a new topic just for this question, but i can't find the answer on the forums.

  • 1, Could be the sound file your using?

    2, Try a different sound(s) just as a test.

3, Open the sound in an editor, if it looks like pictures 2 or 3 (below) it wont sound correct.

4, Upload the sound file/cap for someone to look at?

  • This method can be used for selecting one object at a time (drag and drop)

Maybe you could modify it for your project?
