The only way really is to reduce either the size of your assets (a lot of users generally use art assets that are way larger than they actual need) or reduce the number of assets.

Oh and as far as backups go. With every bit of substantial progress I make a new file so I have a series of files that are all slightly different.

There really is not enough info to go on, unfotunately. Without either a .capx or at least a link to the exported version on your server, then it is just basically shooting in the dark.

Having said that, what browsers have you tested it on?

What errors (if any) are shown in the browser console?

Have you tried running it from a different host?

You could use the System 'Every x seconds' condition along with the System 'Compare 2 values' condition, and just check for Sprite.Count <= 12.

Having a x2, x4, x8 type magnification would be far more useful to the majority of users than some of the recent developments, IMO.

Have you used any python?

If not, make sure to clear the Project Properties tick box for 'Enable Scripting'. That might be the issue.

Maybe you could help yourself by trying to create a simple prototype of just the part that doesn't work. It may then help you see what the problem is in your more complex project.
