  • Asking for a completed .capx is a bit much, because if you don't even know where to start, then it's unlikely you'll understand the end result.

If you read the manual, do some tutorials, then at least make an attempt at it, then when you encounter a particular problem, ask for assistance.

That way, people will see you're trying and are more likely to want to help.

  • I don't see the need. Surely level creation could more easily be handled by importing , for instance, a new json string that contains the layouts for new levels, then just create the levels on the fly based on the new data.

I notice you have a C2 license, so do you realize you are bumping a 3 year old thread from the Construct Classic section?

Just asking as the OP hasn't visited this forum for a very long time.

  • You wouldn't need the business license initially unless you were making more than £5000 a year. A much cheaper Personal license would probably suit you, and just upgrade if or when needed.

  • Not certain but don't think it's possible as the particle system just uses a single image.

It would be easier to just create your own particle system, that could then make use of small, animated sprites.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Are you using the platform behavior in the recommended way? That is, are you using a dummy sprite that has the platform behavior and collision polygon, and then attaching the animations to it?

  • I would say that this is for C2 projects only, but that's just my opinion. A mod or Scirra dev would/could/should clarify.

Maybe post in the Open topic section.

  • 'Trigger once while true' is a System condition: https://www.scirra.com/manual/124/system-conditions

  • What's the point in deleting? If you are not using it, it doesn't matter - just forget about it and move on.

  • As far as I'm aware, you are not allowed to transfer, sell or swap your license.

Maybe email for clarification of what options are open to you may be your best bet, initially.

  • One possible solution is to store the difficulty setting in a Global, then 'initialize' your Layout variables based on the difficulty setting global.

That way, when you restart (make sure not to reset globals), the difficulty setting is still set, and the relevant variables will be correctly initialized.

  • When you installed r190, did you also remember to update the Node-webkit installation from here: https://www.scirra.com/node-webkit ?
