There is no need to bump your own thread after less than an hour.

You need to give users from differing time zones enough time to respond if they are able.

This has happened before, but no one can provide a single method of reproduction.

It could be caused by anything from an overactive antivirus program, or losing sync when using a cloud or external device as your project drive. No one really knows as yet.

Best advice - ensure you manually save regularly, and have the 3 different backup location folders setup.

It is possible to just edit your previous post using the pencil icon. Unecessary multi-posting causes a lot of forum 'noise', and more work for mods :/

Hopefully you have the autosave and backups setup, because there is nothing that can be done with this file unfortunately.

If you unzip, you will see that the Files, Animations and Textures folders are missing. There is nothing anyone can do to bring them back.

Check the folder where you had this project for .backup and .autosave files. If found, just remove the suffix to leave .capx.

A single image layout that size would probably require 7000x2000x4 memory just for the one image. I did a quick test, and it uses approx 54MB.

This is never going to happen for C2, but is part of the roadmap for Construct 3.

The attachment system is not functionaing at the moment.

To attach a file, you will need to use one of the many free storage sites, such as the ones from Dropbox, Google and MicroSoft.

Also, due to your low rep, you will not be able to add links yet unless you add a space or other character to the url, such as:

I'm interested in writing an idle game that keeps running even when you're in another tab browsing something else.

Have you got the backup and autosave features enabled?

What type of device are you saving to: local, external or cloud?

If local: are you trying to save to a sytem restricted folder? Newer Windows systems don't generally allow saving anywhere except the logged in 'Users' folder structure.

I heard I can make games and release them on Nintendo's Wii U console using this application. Is there anything special I need to know about releasing Construct 2 games on Wii U?
