• Speaking of Steam API plugins, is there such a thing yet? I would love to have such a plug-in. :)

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I cant rename the timelines, my first one is "Start of Level", and when I make a new one and name it, the name I set it is set to "Start of Level", so "Start of Level" gets the new name.

    Grrrrrrr. What do?

  • GRR security error and I have to type this post again...

The RTS behavior has 10x10 cell size, and my enemies are 5px large. This is problematic as they would not be ale to fit through 1px wide gaps.

This also wouldn't work because the enemies take 5px steps after a set time. Having them glide towards the player in a non-fixed fashion would make it look awkward and unfitting with the rest of the game.

In this case, yes, I do want to reinvent it, or at least build a shoddy wheel made of wood and dress it up and paint it, making it look new.

  • What I would love is a A* Algorithm tutorial for construct; I can't wrap my head around the damn thing!

I'm not sure if you guys know what it is, but I found an article here that describes it. I get the general idea, but I have no clue where to start!

  • This is so helpful! You have no idea.

Also, what is with the odd ground objects in the four corners? I get that on every map.

  • This is great! Can't wait for the next part. :D

  • Awesome! Can't wait for a tutorial.

  • -snip, fixed it-

This is really awesome! Thank you so much for making this!

  • Sounds like fun. I can't wait! :)

  • I have the same issue when I was trying to make a level editor. :(

  • Construct has a steep learning curve, but once you get used to it making simple games becomes a breeze. Larger games are only a little harder but very time-consuming with debugging and setting a direction for it. In short, construct is a lot better than MMF2 and I recommend it to anyone wanting to make 2D games.

    You will love it! :)

  • I'm on a 8800GS and I have the same problem.
