  • Thanks for the kind words, very happy you enjoyed it. I'm working on an update to clean up some areas, so hopefully things will look a bit better going forward :)

  • I released Absolutely Unstoppable Mine Run on the Wii U in 2016 - this is the new Android port of that game. Based on the reviews the game received I've added a much easier mode. There's also leaderboards and achievements.

Unstoppable Mine Run is an incredibly challenging auto-run platformer. Use only jumps and double jumps to guide the miner to safety, avoiding the ever-rising lava below.

Play dangerously for bigger scores – stay close to the lava for bonus multipliers

16 vertical levels, ranging from very easy to almost impossible

3 objectives per level and 2 difficulty settings

My new game, Absolutely Unstoppable MineRun, was released earlier today. It was made in Construct 2. You can download it from the Nintendo eShop across Europe and Australia for £2.99/€3.59. It will be released in North America soon.

    From the eShop text:

Absolutely Unstoppable MineRun is a challenging auto-run platformer for 1 to 5 players. The lava keeps rising and the Miner is out of control, so you’ll need to use carefully timed jumps and double jumps to reach the top safely. Download from the Nintendo eShop across Europe and Australia for £2.99/€3.59.

    • 16 vertical levels, ranging from very easy to almost impossible

    • Three objectives per level for extra challenge

    • Two multiplayer modes for up to five players

    • In multiplayer, expert players can control two Miners using a single Wii Remote

    • Describe & Draw multiplayer mode – draw clues on the Wii U GamePad for other players to guess. Drawings will obscure the gameplay, but correct guesses will add seconds to the timer

    • Unlockable Endless single player mode

    • Three save files – high scores are shared between the files

  • Absolutely love it - well done. Amazing that one person has made it.

Not for everyone, but this might help someone out there in the UK who wants to start publishing on iOS but doesn't want to have a huge outlay.

£33 per month (for 12 months) for a Mac Mini.

  • Hi,

No worries - it's not a game-breaker, but I mean a graphical transition between the 2 planets. For example, maybe show the planet crumbling into the smaller one, or him flying to the new one as it progresses

  • Love it. Reviewed.

A transition between the planets would be nice, and a Google Play Leaderboard. I got 94.

  • Hi,

If anyone would be willing to give a rating to my game on Kongregate that would be great - otherwise I don't think it'll ever stop being "Under Judgement"

Tap to jump and double jump.

  • Beautiful. Nice graphics too.

  • Thank you for playing - speaking of which, I've just updated Glorious Moon to include Google Play Achievements and a Leaderboard.

Now, if I can just remember the key information I can get it uploaded.

  • Hi,

Unstoppable Mine Run is out now. It's free. It's not an infinite runner, but rather closer to a classic platformer using only timed jumps and double jumps.

The miner can't stop running from left to right. Using only double jumps help him reach the top of the three mines before the lava gets to him. Collect gems, mine patches of rock and stay dangerously close to the lava for the high score. A review/feedback would be appreciated.

    Features:

Retro style music and pixel graphics

    Challenging "one button" jumper gameplay

Three mines - Easy, Average and Tough

    Leaderboards

    Achievements

The Google Play version is ad-supported - complete the "Tough" mine to remove adverts permanently.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

  • Hi all,

    http://phandroid.com/2014/09/18/google-play-now-requires-devs-to-make-their-home-address-public/

As most of you probably know, Google Play will be displaying your address in the Play Store (just as your email address is now) within the next couple of weeks, and if you don't comply your account can be shut down, and any IAP or App Purchases potentially refunded.

If you only create free apps, this doesn't apply to you.

For those that have a business address, it's not too bad. For the remaining 99% of us that put together games in our own homes, it's pretty awful. It's apparently to do with EU law and giving the purchaser the ability to sue.

My question (other than how you feel about it) is have any of you had any experience with virtual business addresses, and is there a service you recommend? A PO Box sadly isn't valid - but I've been browsing and have seen a few services that offer a real London address that can be listed as a business address (for example, Bobo Games, Newcastle Cottage, London EC1 etc) for a monthly fee with a mail forwarding service.

Hoping to get some ideas before I go any further.
