    Any news, ideas about what to do with crosswalk 10?

    If i set version to "beta" or "10", the build of my game runs slowly + some sounds play, when they're not supposed to ("footsteps" sound starts ok, but in some time just continues playing) Or even fails to run at all (some chinese tablet)

    Same build made with "stable" setting works just fine. But you all know the reason...

    Having kinda panic here

    imaffett I can confirm that Crosswalk 10 is running very sluggish, even in my Puzzle match-3 game.

    This is something related to the fact that Crosswalk 10 is based in Chromium 39, which had jank issues?

  • Chrome 40 just went stable. Does this improve v-sync for anyone affected by jank?

    Even if not then I think Google have a v-sync patch in for Chrome 41.

    No more jank for me in Chorme 40, even with Aero off.

    Is rexrainbow solution better or has more possibilities?

    Tks, it's solved now.

    I think rexrainbow solution is harder at the beginning, but once you understand the plugins and behaviors, you can do almost every puzzle game you can imagine.

    I still can't open it, I am a regular user of rexrainbow plugins, and the plugins are all update to the latest versions, but I still have the warning""Grid move"behavior is missing"

    Yes, the same here, maybe because Crosswalk 10 is based on Chomium 39, which has a lot of V-Sync/jank issues, and Crosswalk 7 is based on Chromium 36.

  • rexrainbow , I did it before with those from the repo, without success, it's weird.

    It has to be something in the capx., because all other of your capx, that make use of this behaviour are working fine.

    I have all the required plugins and behaviors installed(latest updates from your app), but the capx still says that "Grid move"behavior is missing.

    Any clue on this? I'm on C2 r190.

  • Hi Aphrodite , you are right, HTML5 is the future, but "future" can be tomorrow, or 10 years from now, but I believe that day will come, that's why I use Construct2 for 8 hours a day for the last 3 years, but sometimes is really frustrating to show a publisher a game that worked well 2 months ago, and now is complete mess.

    Sometimes I have a serious doubt about that Sentence, and now is one of that times.

    It seems that when we give one step in the right direction(canary 40), then we give two steps in wrong direction.

    I know Browsers are trying to fix these issues , but my sensation is that Browsers don't take HTML5 gaming too serious.

    I´ll put on hold my games until v-sync issues are fixed, because I can't show them to publishers, and give them one more reason to think that HTML5 is not ready for a serious game experience.

    Unfortunately we rely on too many partners, if I could rely only on Scirra and Ashley reliability, I would sleep a lot better

  • Hi lucid, I bought some Spriter Characters from a graphic artist, and he built each animation of the same character in a different Entity, resulting in a big mess when imported to Construct2.

    From what I understand, with this procedure, unnecessary pngs are imported to C2 project, am I right?

    Note that all animations make use of the same png limbs.
