  • I found sort of an exploit in an earlier version you posted (didn't make a post about it 'cause I forgot about it ) Tried in this version too.

(Oh yeah, ignore the music. I had it playing in the background and it got recorded too =P )

  • I tested twice to see if I would get similar speeds.

    First

    Second

I'm not a big fan of Telia (whoever is in charge of their internet division is a knucklehead), but eh, it's included in the rent.

  • Oh right, you can find get here: http://bit.ly/a5GmTX

  • Does it happen with movement behaviours or with 'On control" condition?

Could you send me your cap?

    It happens with both.

Here's the cap I found it with.

  • I've noticed a small issue.

When you've set up controls to a gamepad and play, if you press two "Move X" buttons simultaneously (down + left for example) the sprites movement stops completely until you let one go, upon which it continues to move.

I've tested this with both a Dual Shock 2 and an XB360 pad and both did the same thing. I don't know if the problem applies for analog sticks, but I doubt it. The plugin doesn't do this when using the keyboard for controls, so it must be something specific to the joystick part of the plugin.

  • I was thinking about adding some recent threads to the tutorials page. Please add 'luzeke' as editor so I can do it (another nick I go by)

  • Having a backstory is nice, but you'll usually rely on it for better characterization. Resident Evil 5 does this well, serving "files" (text backstory) on each character, while the main game only shows the present and some hints of the past. This keeps things moving.

Not to mention the Metroid Prime games use of scanning the environment, making requiring the background/exposition an actual game element. Although I did get a bit frustrated with it, not because it was implemented poorly or anything, just that I'd kick myself in the shins if I knowingly missed something.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Not exactly game-related, but I'm starting up a webcomic (hoping to have it started around Halloween). Here's one of the characters.

  • This is great! I saw this just now and have only tried the examples so far, but it works great.

    Awesome work!

  • Place your events that concern the inventory in a group and make another event ewhich deactivates the group unless a number is specified.

  • I dl'ed it as soon as it got released. Unfortunately, the first release is plagued with bugs, at least in singleplayer.

But yeah, it would be fun to get a server up and play some MM8BDM.

Shadow Man kicks Metal Mans ass any day. 'Cuz he's a ninja!

  • I decided to get it myself yesterday. The game spreads almost like a plague here (and pretty much everywhere else I imagine). One of my friends made a sarcastic comment "Been nice knowing yah." when I got it. Ironically he's probably the last one in our circle that hasn't got it yet.

I saw something funny when playing.
