  • Thanks!

    Going to test it.

  • Thanks for the reply.

Hmm... I either did not know this or never paid attention to this detail.

    I will stick to PNG.

  • In which format do you put sprites in Construct?

I ask this question to learn and choose the right format, for the right situation.

  • Thanks for your answer. If I have any more questions, I will have a look at your Verve-project.

  • Is there a quick way to let a game restart and set all values as it was when starting the game?

(for example: restart the game at the game over-screen)

Perhaps unload everything and reload layout 1, as if the program was starting again?

If this is possible in an easy way, is this done with an action from the system-object?

(I can't think of anything else than: check which values change and reset them to its original value, when a "restart"-button is pressed.)

  • R0J0hound, I will try it. Thanks.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • R0J0hound, the card is from "SIS". I don't have any other details on the card.

The only setting I think that could help was changing resolution.

I also tried re-installing the latest drivers.

I ended up with a direct3d-error when loading a preview and thinking of getting another laptop.

  • Madster, my project is using Sampling: Linear.

I believe I tried it on my laptop, but it didn't change anything.

In windows I have tried a few resolutions to try if it would solve it: from 800*600 to 1600*xxxx.

    Did not help.

  • I thought I would post this question, as it could become a FAQ.

What do older videocards "like" more: directx (C0.x) or opengl (C2)?

  • Thanks.

Is there a list of priorities, so that we can see what is probably next to be implemented in C2?

(for example: physics-object: high or low priority on the to-do-list?)

  • Oh, thanks. That seems simple enough.

I thought the meaning of the arrow was to sort, not to create...

  • How do I add a layer in a layout?

I already did this before, since I have 2 layouts on 1 layout, but I have no idea how I did it.

I can't find it in the wiki or search-function.
