  • Hum, I understand. But this one is pretty obvious if you've updated any C2 project since last release.

    And it's just need a button. ;)

I had to resize and replace buttons on ALL of my projects, because buttons were overlapping and non-aligned with other objects...

And now all my project's UI under C2 are a big mess to have a good render. :(

  • Why would you need a specific .capx for such a bug here? :(

  • Why would you need a specific .capx for such a bug here? :(

  • Steps to reproduce:

    1. Create new project

    2. Add a textbox and a button

    3. Launch it with Firefox

    Observed result:

Since last Construct 2 version, everything disappear on firefox several seconds after launching app. Only textboxes, buttons or such objects stay visible. When an action occur (like click on a button), everything reappear.

    Expected result:

    No disappearing.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: no

Firefox: yes - Everything is up-to-date, tested with no addons.

    Internet Explorer: no

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 7 Home, last update

    Construct 2 version:

    Release 132 (64-bit)

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Steps to reproduce:

    1. Place Button object

    2. View project in browser.

    Observed result:

The buttons have different size and coordinates in layout and when rendered in browser.

The difference was here for a long time, but with last version, in browser the buttons are now way bigger and moved some pixels in the +x;-y direction.

It's really difficult to build a correct/accurate UI now.

    Expected result:

Same size and same coordinates in webpage for objects, according to Construct 2 Layout.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes

    Firefox: yes

    Internet Explorer: yes

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 7 Home last update

    Construct 2 version:

    Release 132 (64-bit)

  • Sorry for that :)

But ramones is right about all other native elements, they shake if I change Chrome zoom, so I assume it's an already known bug.

  • I imported a font and images (png) in project's folder Files (with Construct 2). In this folder Files, I made subfolders to tidy up a bit.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I understand the "/media" when exported is for these files. But when I export, I've got no /media folder, which means my 250 png and the font (+css) are on root, mixed with application files. It's not really handy when I need to upload a new version, without uploading images.

  • When exporting to HTML5, the subfolder "media" is not created and all the project files go to the root's project folder.

Subfolders of "Files" are not created either (I suppose because "media" is not created).

    (Windows 7 64-bits)

  • I changed it to "letterbox integer scale" for now to prevent shaking.

Without integer, no matter browser zoom, it's shaking on Chrome. Check the .capx file.

  • Link to .capx file (required!):

    nucreum.com/misc/DWHelperSingle.capx

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Go to dwhelper.nucreum.com with Chrome

    2. Click on "Graef's Appendix"

    3. Look at the Listbox...

    Observed result:

The listbox is shaking when not focused

    Expected result:

    Do not move.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes

    Firefox: no

Internet Explorer: I don't use it.

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 7 family 64-bit SP1 up-to-date.

    Construct 2 version:

    r114, personal licence.

  • Would be the awesomest thing since invention of the wheel.

  • That's great. <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Unfortunately "newline" doesn't work in appending text on textfile. Any chance to fix that ? :(
