  • The runtime already supports changing to any resolution via events, and you can position things for any resolution using DisplayWidth and DisplayHeight expressions. What's wrong with that?

    I'm not good with math, that's what's wrong with it. Just joking, but i'm not good with it.

  • You are missing form, all the leaves blend in together and look flat. You need to consider the shape of the tree from this angle, How the leaves would be covering a lot of the trunk and so on

    Check out the picture of the tree/sphere construction about a third of the way down.

    I know that structure sux it's was more a a animation test. but yea, need to fix that.

  • I work in construct not many time. And dont know how create many things. If i create new music i just import it in game files, and dont need write new script

    I would change controles, because you cant shoot in the oposite direction to your movement. I would make ships bigger, add zoom, put planet and non coliding object on diferent layer with paralax efect so player will not get confused ( like i ).

  • when i get my project off the ground i'll probably make a resolution changer plugin if it's possible. i'll have a look into the sdk

    if anyone has experience with the problem of differing resolutions, what needs to be taken into account? as in zoom, layer scaling, image sizes, behaviors, etc? assuming you want your game to be identically sized, just with higher or lower res,

    so i can figure out whether its even plausible

  • maybe. The thing is game is secert of mana style, so the trees have to have ilusion of depth from semi-iso perspective. Oh, it,s not only about the movement about about the gfx too. I'm not sure what kind of gfx i need: should i use separated branczes and leves, or connected with each other. When u see the exe you'll know what i'm aiming for.

    I want animated trees in my game. I don't know y, but i can't focus enough to think of a best way of making thise trees look good and efficiante. before this demo i did tried sin movement for sprites + bone movement to keep branches attached to the trunk, but when i cloned the whole tree, both went mad, moving fast and the branches where spread all over the layout. So i came uot with thise non-moving trunks just to see how it my work.
