  • it seems this can be done using IP. many old games support the ability to create an IP lan type thing, like TA for example. so it should be very possible for construct to use this also. then just have a get client IP command, and you only need to host the main game lobby which transfers player ips. im no network genius but this seems like the easiest way to make online work.

    you only need an IP link, no fancy servers. the snes emulator SNES9x also uses an IP link for netplay across computers

  • youd need to save the movement for each frame before that moment and hold about 600 frames or wtv depending on how long the time rewind can be set, or hold information like when the player moved right and for how long, when he jumped and ect, then find a way to play that backwards.

  • couldnt you just do every 1000 millisecond =add .5 to value

  • braid can easily be build using construct, even world of goo could be made using it.

  • why dont you use rgb(value,value,value,)

    you could use lerp for the value picking and stuff

  • why dont you just use a filter for recolour portions (i.e the red/blue/green on a tank in an rts depending on what colour you are) and make those portions a different sprite

    And how did you get through the hole? I was planning on doing something with that later and I didn't think you could get through it.

  • ok, i beat it in about 40 minutes, +20 that i left it on while i ate, and the ending seems to be a tree with a guy, thats it

    oh yea at the beginning theres a lil hole on the left side of the screen and when i go through it i fall to my death

    the difficulty and controls are fine, the games still easier than the world 7-8 levels in Mario 3

    you should place checkpoints a little more often, because the difficulty often becomes tedious instead of a challenge when youre faced with too many difficult parts in a row, or at least have a medium difficulty mode with said feature

    brave honey bee sytle areas are a nice xD
