Keep in mind, I drew this with a $15 mouse on a crappy-ass computer... hopefully this is the style of ship you are after at least... I can clean it up later and add side and top views etc. Let me know what you think.

Yeah I'm cool to try and contribute where possible on a strictly platonic level... I guess we could have some kind of "gravity herding" puzzle fest where the player has to coax the gravitons into a, or several "goal" areas? We could even change it from a spaceship to something like a little dude using a "ghostbusters gun"... or bacteria in a petree dish being zapped with antibiotics?

I dunno, but it sounds like we could have some casual fun messing around with this!

Yes, this would be awesome... this kind of collision could even allow physics objects to pass right through one another in order to find a "gap" to fit in to... this WOULD indeed make liquid dynamics using physics objects way easier and convincing to achieve.

Dreamscene is the devil ... take a peek at the ram usage next time you run one.

I have 4Gb of DDR2 1066Mhz... An extra 20-30Mb of RAM being used isn't going to phase me lol... but I know what you mean, especially if you only have 1-2Gb of RAM like I did in my previous PC.

I totally agree... nobody will steal it unless they are a giant asshat... though I was going to see about adding plasma effects to the particle system on my explosion example... but now it will look like I stole it, so I will leave it as it is.

Works fine. My only gripe is you just used static artwork. The individual "puffs" should animate as well. It would look and feel less "game-like."

I can fix that... the puffs are a single frame of an animation anyway... might try that and see how it looks

In all fairness, I think we are more than capable of having a discussion about this topic in a mature and respectable manner. If Ash wants it closed then that's another story, but I personally think it's good to be able to openly discuss this. Ash and the Scirra team didn't do anything wrong, so why worry about it?

I have to agree with Ashley though, bagging other game programs is not a polite thing to do... though not illegal, it's still not nice. If it wasn't for programs like Klik and Play, Game Factory, etc... Construct might not even be here. Fair enough I'm sure we all agree that we like Construct better, and drawing comparisons between other software is perfectly fine... but putting someone else down in a obviously non-constructive manner (no pun intended... I seem to do that a lot) is rude and uncalled for.
