Why do you need to subtract from level in such small increments like that?
I reckon you should keep the level value clean by using only integers, and if you need to subtract by decimals or whatever then use a seperate variable.

Yeah that works, except I should clarify that I'm using the platform movement (not physics).
I'm not sure if that tutorial is related? This problem is to do with making a slope that you can slide down, not make you walk around it like in sqiddster's gravity example/tutorial.
Use the rotate towards position action on the sprite?
