  • This bug appears to be with importing C2 files that have "force own texture" enabled.

If you create a new c3 project, create a sprite, set "force own texture" on the layer, it works fine. Now keep the c3 project open and open a c2 project which uses "force own texture", it will load up with a selection box offset and that same offset will now be applied to the c3 project as well.

  • Try Construct 3

  • What the hecks going on with force own texture?

As soon as i apply it to a layer then all the objects selection boxs get offset like it's using parallax in the editor, even if parallax is set to 0, and the "parallax in editor" option is unchecked.

Also any C2 file i import which uses force own texture also produces this effect.

  • Same chrome on mac.

Heres a screen capture, its sets the colour on the first click only.

  • Oh i see, i need to name the project first. Missed that lol.

But still come up with .(1) that needs deleteing though. I know it supposed to help keeping versions but i find it anoying.

  • If i leave it empty it always says "New project.c3p", not my file name.

If i type my file name, it then comes up as "myfilename (1).c3p" which i then have to delete the (1).

  • Ashley any word on this. It's very tedious at the moment. A quick way to local save to the currently open file would be greatly appreciated.

A "quick save to local" button would be nice. Just click the button and a message pops up, "overwrite current file - yes - no ". Click yes and it does it all for you.

  • I'm trying to change the background colour of a comment but it only seems to apply the first time a colour is picked, subsequent clicks have no effect. I have to close and load the colour picker window again. Is this a bug?

  • I assume the "m" stands for mobile or something, does that make it different to a normal graphics card? My 7 year old mac has a Radeon HD 5670 and runs C3 fine.

  • At the moment if you are saving to your computer its all just basically "Save as" as you have to keep specifying a name, theres no "save" as you have it in C2 where you can just save to the same file quickly without having to retype the name and overide it.

I know there are limits with it being in a browser but as a work around would it be possible in the "download a copy" dialogue box, underneith where it asks for the file name, to have a list of the peviously saved file name, or read all the .c3p in the download folder, that way we can just click a file name instead of having to keep retyping the same file name over and over?

    Thanks.

  • The way we were taught in school was X is like a cross symbol (across), and Y is like an arrow symbol pointing down (up and down).

  • I'll be holding off subscribing until the full SDK is released and people start porting the 3rd party plugins.

  • I've never exported to mobile but i expect the final file size of those will be a lot less then with nw.js (which is bundling the browser) so perhaps 100mb will be enough for those.
