  • I challenge deadeye to make it to 2,000 posts

  • I'm not sure what you mean by overlap.

It sounds like your trying to create a network system for paths, so you might have p1, p2, p3, p4, and p1 connects to p2,p3, and p2 connects to p4, and p3 connects to p4, etc. And you want to store the information about connections?

  • I believe it was

    for instance in Sprite

    instance.X += 1;

I implemented the elements thing in the classes so object types were iterable, but I cant remember if the above is the syntax, I'll check when I get home and hopefully get back to you

  • Also great job Deadeye! Thats exactly what I was hoping someone would do to that cap, and you exceeded my expectations by allowing different teeth!

  • Thats what you get when you challenge a programmer

  • Needs background music

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Seems only appropriate that Construct has an example gear creator If only I had used this to make the logo...oh well

    How to customise:

Change the width/height of the two circles in the middle.

The 'Gear' object has a private variable called 'spokes' which specifies how many spokes to make.

The width/height and position of the spoke affects the size of the spokes.

To get different shapes spokes you'd have to edit the image

I know its not very user friendly, so I challenge someone to make a better version

Oh after you run the program, you can paste it into photoshop or whatever...it automatically copies to clipboard

  • Wonderful game The gameplay is repetetive but thats what I like about it..you stick with the same crate gun and by the end of it you're very familiar with it.

The art style, the animation and the music really give this game atmosphere, and I found myself playing the whole game from start to finish just to see the next cut scenes. I really like these types of games where your rewarded for youre efforts with more story line...by controlling the character it makes you feel more involved in the plot.

It actually reminds me a lot of braid...where the game itself is a symbollic journey, but rather than having to piece together the story from clues (like you have to in Braid), its presented in a cut scene. I kind of feel this is how games should be! I'm sick of games with ambiguous endings and storylines which only unfold as you find certain items in the game which give a clue to whats actually happened. People say it makes the game more 'intellectual' but I personally find it makes it harder to understand...and that makes me feel thick

Anyway, anyone who plays this game and simply says 'its just the same gameplayer over and over again...shoot crates and get to the end of the level' seems to be missing the emotional experience of the game.

Also...kind of reminds me of an episode of Winnie the Pooh, with 'Tigger the private ear'...where he goes searching for donkeys tail...i cant find any google images sadly...i'm remembering something I saw when I was like 5 heh

  • Its a demonstration of what happens when accidentally add cornflower into the pan instead of a cup of cold water...then try to scoop it up with a spoon...and then add more cornflower but this time in a cup of cold water...but accidentally let it boil a bit for too long and erm...yeah thats what u get

    Yum Yum

  • Translates large block of russian and gets:

    "Icons very emotional.

    Rolls too good.

But I have some doubts in the fact that they well will be looked together.

    Style different.

But it is necessary already to consider this picture pillar.

I not have himself finished project not a single, so, bits everyone.

    Blockage on work.

    "

    Ah...gotta love web translators
