    so i got a 1280x720 playground and want to spawn every *** random seconds 1 enemy OUTSIDE the layout. I tried alot of combinations but im confused if i have to use "scripts" like "system: create "enemy" on layer 1 at random x ****** random y ******

    I just dont know how i define the area outside the layout and neither if i should use sprites to spawn them there and just place them around my playground.

    Since its an survival game i cant just allow them to spawn near my player.

    since im swapping projects/game genres from time to time to test some event-possibilities, im focused on the endless runner genre now.

    So i played around a bit and it ended in a "disco" theme, block colors changing with the beat ( actually no real script, i just tried to time the framechange correctly).

    Now im so addicted to this project and would love the finish it as a solid game. So now i want to ask you guys, what would you love the see in these kind of games ( features, design ideas etc. etc.) what u maybe never saw before in any typ of these games. I didnt played many of them so i dont know alot about this genre, but i know the basics like " get points to unlock new stuff, evade/jump over objects, bla bla bla..."

    For now it could be just a free game since i just have the free version of C2.

    And excuse me for my bad englisch, its hard for me to explain and tell people what exactly i want.

  • Thx for the reply, yes i deleted it because i actually didnt expect any more responses ( im sure its also the fault of my title ) and wanted to delete this post but i didnt know how.

    And yes I searched for topics that deals with physic doors and i found one but the only thing i got from it was to use the physics joint function but thats it.

    I am focused at another Game Genre now so its ok if i dont get help that fast.

  • i thought that was obvious but i just noticed it just happens if your on the wrong spot. So if u push the door at the handle it appears to move much slower or even dont feel like your pushing it. It mostly just moves if u touch it in the middle of the door.

    english isnt my native language so i got problems to explain stuff correctly.

    im about to paint all my texture stuff for my game myself and now i need to make a round saw blade from the top vision. But i have no idea or inspiration how i could paint this to make it look like one. i attached a pic of how it should look.

    Maybe someone can help me painting one ( outlines only )

    My tiles are 65x65.

    As u can see on my picture, i got a huge black space on the bottom on the screen. I want to fix that so this isnt visible anymore and the ground should instead appear on the bottom off the screen (so are they placed ) .

    My current layout scale is set to 0.4

    My Project Properties Windows size 1244, 800 ( which ends with exactly on the bottom of my floor )

    and i use "scroll-to" on the player

    is there a way to fix that without resize all my images or layout scale ?

  • wow guys im so stupid, i didnt even tell that script what to do if the value reaches 1, exept for subtract something from it every ** seconds -.- im really really sorry for wasting all of your time

  • ok i guess i got it so far but one more question pls, how do i trigger those 0.5 seconds ?

    atm its like this for me:

    1. "bullet" cooldown > 0 -> "bullet" subtract 0.5 from "cooldown"

    2. "mouse" on left button clicked -> "player" start animation from beginning

    "bullet" cooldown=0 "player" spawn "bullet" on layer 0 (image point1)

    "bullet" set cooldown to 1

    i hope there is not a "and" command like the "or" one, since i cant find it.
