  • I think Im doing something wrong here just dunno what? Im trying to get A particular tool to show when left clicking it. It goes to inventory.. Then it changes to another tool for some reason. I don't know why? I think this part is the culprit. Unless it something else. I'm hoping someone can help. Basically when I click an item to pick it up. It displays the wrong item. But the initial item is right on the screen when u run the preview. It just changes when Its clicked

    Edit: Also does the same thing for The item. Tool and item has same problem. Put the object down turns it back to what its suppose to be. (ie left clicking in inventory slot)

  • I'm trying to make a Inventory now that uses one object to display everything. Only I put different "types" or item in different Animations. Each Item is going to be a Different frame in that Animation. You will notice in the .capx that I tried to do something with it. By giving the object instance variables that are suppose to goto an array, and then make the object display in the "Inventory" On screen. Any help would be appreciated. i think I'm on the right track with it. I'm just doing something wrong. My .capx is a little disorganized. Because I have been trying different things, and just disabling things so I can test other things. Just to find what will work. I ultimately want an inventory that I can pick stuff uop, and drop it etc. But also be able to "select" things and use them. But I'm open to ideas. I'm just completely stumped at this, and have been for weeks with this inventory system.

  • I appreciate your help. I may be doing something wrong with the first one. I never fully finished it either. But its also not quite what I wanted. I'm hoping someone has experience with making a Multi-Layout Inventory lolz. Who could help

  • Yer Iv'e tried both of those tutorials. Hiding the layer and then showing it is not working. In regards to a Global Inventory layer. I just tried that. Thats Why I want to have it on a diff layout. I don't mind using a Common Even Sheet if i have to.

  • I wanna create a Inventory that Not only shows up on a different layer. but Also allows a HotBar on the main Game layer. Like Minecraft In a Way. Right now I have 3 separate Inventory arrays for different types of Object. (Tools, Seeds, and Items) I really don't want it that way I want everything available for the same Inventory. I have 3 diferent Item Sprite types for Each. I dont want to put everything in one Item with all the animation frames in one item, or different animations in one item. I want it the way it is. Only Everything able to goto the same inventory/Hotbar. Everything should goto the Hotbar first the Inventory. Then I need a way to select the item that is going to be "Used" in the Inventory.. Either by selection Sprite, or a Separate slot. I'm Open to ideas on that. I know this is probably alot to ask. But Iv'e been stumped on this for about a month. I actually have alot of questions in regards to doing things because I'm a complete Noob. But I rally need help with the inventory. I'm willing to do the work so to speak. I just dunno how to go about it, and Iv'e checked several tutorials, and they are either outdated. Or irrelevant to what I need.

    P.S Reason my game name has 2 s's at the end was due to another project file with a simular name. I didn't want to get the two confused.

  • I have a similar issue. Only the object all share the same Sprite. Would this example work the same or do I need to do something else. What I mean by sharing the same sprite is. Itz the same sprite for all the objects, just a different animation frame. I can try and share the .capx if need be.
