  • OKi so here is what what went down today. Finished the shop design. Hopefully tomorrow it's the backgrounds. It looks like most of the Icons and such are done also.

  • Gosh the game has actually evolved so much since we started with it.

    Finished off a mountain of toon bodies today, think we have about 10 000 combinations now. Thankfully it looks like all the toon art will be done tomorrow or tonight.

    So here is the newly updated logo. Will possibly change and morph as the game takes more shape also. Just wanted to see what it will look like with the new bodies in.

  • 60% is the rule of thumb, they need to be different by at least 60% for you to get away with it.

  • We have made quite a bit of progress AI is in. But the game is still very raw, here is the very first screeny, with some of the graphic elements in. Hopefully soon we will have the Alpha ready.

  • Please just don;t slap me lol, will be a hit on FB, should have a way to add peeps you don't like's names. LOL FB poke.

    I keep seeing this game, and I keep coming back to it, so not sure if it's a good idea to tell you these things, but it's bugging me.

    So here is my feedback.

    The game from a playable perspective looks good, but to be brutally honest, I would not download and play this game.

    Here is why...

    The graphics are all over the place.

    1. The buttons, the styling is completely off, what is that plastic wrap (*shudders). Corel Draw?

    2. The font - It's the type of font (looks like times new Roman) that is never ever ever used by any self respecting artist unless they are writing some sort of manual. Even then I would not use it. Also you seem to be using a variety of fonts. They are clashing big time! I think you need to stick to one font here.

    3. The texturing is off, the mix of soft and hard is all over the place.

    4. The color scheme is all over the place.

    5. You used a gfx style that is straight out of the 90's, Plastic wrap all of those things are taboo unless you have a really good reason to use it.

    It's not all bad there are some gems in all of this but you cannot see it because the bad stuff just kills it. Your main toon is totally overwhelmed, making the game harder to play from a visual user side experience.

    My honest advice, you need to invest in a graphics pack. One graphics pack with a singular style. Or get an proper artist involved.

    Totally sorry, I don't like giving bad crits, but you seem proud of your game and you should be, but it can be a whole lot better!

  • OKi so today we did first draft of the UI, suspect there will be still be lots of changes. The bottom images are still being constructed got some placeholders in there . Also not 100% happy with some of the UI elements will see how it goes.

    At the moment there are 9000 monsters you can make . We'll be adding a few more in the next couple of days.

    Not the same as per your link, but here is my feedback based on pics here.

    I like what you have, one small suggestion, the leaves overlay at the bottom and sides of the screen is distracting it takes away from your toon. The leaves at the top is nice but where it merges in the center looks not so nice. I'd make one solid strip, or a tiled strip with no visible join area.

    Other than that hat off, you rock!
