  • Slice Looking great man. Awesome work!

  • Thanks all. I do appreciate the feedback. I'm just looking for a :

"Yes. I make $500 per month using C2 apps" kind of response.

Also, don't set too high a bar on C2 making money. Especially with the new Admob plugin added, I can see C2 apps generating decent income - hence my question.

You can look more into the forums for these types of things. Also take the time to google games made with C2. https://www.scirra.com/forum/c2-games-on-google-play-android-market_t76463

  • Perfectly put together and so helpful Kyatric . You're awesome man!

  • Hey everyone!

Alright so today I would like to address an issue I've been having. I want to add more to this intro screen before I start adding levels. It is very simple I think at least but I just can not figure it out. I will look more into it, it may just be myself over thinking things, which I find myself doing a lot on construct.

Let me know what you think of the current project as it comes along. Hopefully you guys can assist the production here in this topic.

Here is a preview of the intro so far. http://www.scirra.com/arcade/addicting-puzzle-games/17900/blue-erebus

If you have any suggestions of anything of that sort please feel free to say something down below!

I am wanting to create the effect of dust flowing around in the air of the background making it seem more ominous. Hopefully you guys know what I mean by this. Kinda like a silent hill type dust but more floating around rather than falling.

I was wondering if it was possible to add in a looping video as the background? Kinda something like this http://youtu.be/yQYSRuewoZc

  • The style is great, remind me of limbo and Monochroma.

A0Nasser I'm glad that it's sparking up intrest!

  • Nice art.

You should add at least 1 level before asking for feedback.

Updates will be applied to the game as we go. Currently this is just to give people an example of where the story is going to go and what the game is going to look like. I'm glad you are interested though! If you would like to stay up to date just visit the game often!

  • Inc: Just a quick question, do you use game engines other than Construct 2? Although Construct 2 works great as a prototyping tool, it will soon become unmanageable if you plan to build something larger than usual.

Herks Are you sure you read the initial post?

I started out designing multiple things such as coding, mapping, modeling, texturing, animating, level creating, architectural design, lighting techniques, and etc. When I was bigger into game design I was on a team called Lox Studios. We worked on Cry Engine 3, Unreal Engine 3, Unity, Source, Blender, libGDX, Leadwerks, Esenthel Engine, Hero Engine, and of course Construct 2.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • My Apologies for the spam I didn't understand the rule about it

SuitedSpider It's a widely known rules across multiple social platforms. I appreciate your apology.

  • This is amazing. Gonna be staying up to date on this for sure!

  • Awesome! Unique way to use C2!

  • Blue Erebus

You are Erebus and in your blood line runs the blood of the Blue Erebus. An ancient power that your ancestors have discovered and learned to control. Your species have diminished and it is your job to unveil your past. You will take Erebus to mysterious lands and lands unknown. Are you ready for this adventure? Are you ready to wield the power of the Blue Erebus?

    FullScreen Test (a1.3.0)

This game is in production and this is just a demo of the art style. There is a playable demo on Scirra here:

Blue Erebus on Scirra Arcade. Feedback is needed so please give as much as you like!

  • SuitedSpider: Before spamming the forums with endless messages, please use the Search function and Google or any search engine as well.

You are obviously a young beginner in game making, all the informations you need are already out there for you to read.

Start with the tutorials and notice the several categories available.

Also try not to post several messages in a row, if you forgot to add something, use the edit function, the little pen on top right of a message you posted.

Thank You Kyatric for posting this here. I did not know he was doing these things, but I am glad to know.
