I would like you to fix your provided links so I can see what you have done.

  • I can tell you what you can do if that helps Slicksz . Create a new sprite, size it to whatever you like. Place it to the right of the layout. Set the behavior to bullet. Correct the speed and direction of the bullet. Create the event for the bullet, on bullet collide with player either destroy player and or restart layout. Whichever you prefer. Also create the event for the bullet to respawn at a random position or however you would like to create that.

    Now for the starfield just create some particles and tweak the settings to whatever you are aiming for. Also you may want to use more than one particle object for this.

  • Slicksz if your going to provide a capx without the things you are describing we can't help you. I mean we can make it for you but that is not a good way to learn. This is literally the stock auto runner template with nothing as you described. There is no object set to spawn and collide with the player nor is there a star field. You only changed one thing and that is the image to the player sprite.

    Not sure how we are supposed to help you with this...

    . That video will also explain the type of tool I am going for in my game.

    All I have so far is a capx of the player with an "gun" that follows the mouse.

    My plan is to create a "gun" type tool that will shoot a beam (doesn't have to) to an object and be able to pick it up and move it. I hope it is possible to control the rotation of the object by holding a key down as you would with the physgun but I'm not sure if that would be very easy in construct.

    If anyone can help let me know!

  • AeleaS correct me if I'm wrong but are you trying to make a gif in construct? Or are you trying to make an animation for a game? Because if your trying to make a gif there are much better softwares out there for that.

  • Will add them later this week to the set. Small trouble to remove these white lines. As soon I made the change I will notify this here.

  • Wrenfield this sounds like a wonderful idea, Let me know where this goes. Hell if anything you and I can collab if no one else decides to be get involved in this project. But I'm sure there will be people interested. It's a good way to get everyone involved and develop something awesome.
