  • Splash screen and/or loading layout was always an issue for construct2, although as is, it gets the job done; sort off

    You see, on big games for example, with lots of graphic and sound effects (not music) loading layout never works, unless you set "Preload sounds" to NO, otherwise you have to stare at a black screen for 20sec or more until loading layout shows. You can always set "Loader style" to progress bar or percentage, but wont that defeat the purpose of a loading layout?

    So I think construct 2 should improve how it loads game and perhaps redesign the loading layout function so that we don't have to use 3rd party plugins for this.

    Don't get me wrong, SDK is awesome and I my opinion the best there is, but construct2 also export to other platforms not just Cordova.

    Stop Shake action can be useful. I know you can disable behavior which is different from stop shake .

    It will be nice to have an option when you export your game to select or deselect things like sounds/musics and sprites. You see if you have a game already published, and all you do is fix some bugs with no alteration to sprites or sounds, there's no reason to export this files again, so by exporting just the script part, you'll save yourself a lot of time especially when you have a big game with hundreds of images and sounds.

    If you export for cordova, the browser object link in additions.xml need to be updated to reflect the new cordova site link, or just use instead: https://github.com/apache/cordova-plugin-inappbrowser

    otherwise you'll get an error when you try to build with Intel SDK

  • This will be fun to use at the start of a layout if you can make a property for "seconds to run". This way after "seconds to run" ends it will not create new characters so you can start playing the game.

    Here's another thought, more challenging that is, to load content from iframe into objects.

  • can you add an action to control scroll for iframe, this way you can enable/disable scroll based on the instance behavior.

  • have you enter the license key from google into your C2 game?

  • with google play, you have to have the same version number uploaded onto google play website. It can be alfa or beta, not necessary to be live.

    In other words, the version you are using on your device have to be uploaded on google play.

    IOS is different, you can test it without having it uploaded.
