try like this: if player press Button (GotoGame) Hide admob ads

Yeah that is what the first picture do but it didn't work, the second one works well

  • The name of the APK should be the same name as the name on the google play dashboard. You should also upload the armv7 apk, not the x86 apk. (At least from my experience, the x86 does not work)

Yeah I seem to worked it out but right after I pressed "Publish app" (A few hours later) so did I get a policy strike for metadata

    [quote:oyxhwz7g]Hi Developers at X,

After review, X, xxx, has been suspended and removed from Google Play as a policy strike because it violates our metadata policy.

    Next Steps

Read through the Metadata policy for more details and examples of policy violations.

Make sure your app is compliant with all policies listed in the Developer Program Policies. Remember additional enforcement could occur if there are further policy issues with your apps.

Sign in to your Developer Console and upload the policy compliant app using a new package name and a new app name. Make sure your Store Listing doesn’t include any irrelevant keywords.

    Submit the app.

Additional suspensions of any nature may result in the termination of your developer account, and investigation and possible termination of related Google accounts. If your account is terminated, payments will cease and Google may recover the proceeds of any past sales and/or the cost of any associated fees (such as chargebacks and transaction fees) from you.

If you’ve reviewed the policy and feel this suspension may have been in error, please reach out to our policy support team. One of my colleagues will get back to you within 2 business days.

    Regards,

    The Google Play Review Team

I have already wrote a appeal as I don't know what kind of rule I broke, I didn't type anything that wasen't related to the game in the description, I didn't use any kind of images that wasen't from the game, Nothing like that.

I read this google article thought 3 times before publishing the app to make sure that I didn't type anything that wasen't allowed: https://play.google.com/intl/en/about/s ... /metadata/

Guess I gotta wait up to 72 hours now.

What could possible have gone wrong

  • Edit: Read update here:

I uploaded the apk I got from Intel XDK and it says only 400 units work with it....

Over 13,000 don't, It also says my phone that I did testing with don't work, but it works when I install it myself.

    why?=

These are my APK's and I tested uploading both

Edit: Suddenly got it to work, does the name of these 2 apk matter?

  • Hello everyone.

I have created an app, launched it on my device with xdk and it worked perfectly.

Now when I try to install the apk I can tap "install" as long as I want. It's not doing anything.

I also made sure that it's allowed to install apps from unknown sources.

Hope to get some help here.

I had this problem yesterday, Make sure that you don't have an APP in that name before

  • It should work with

Touch -> On touched object -> Do this (Button)

Button itself -> collisions enabled, Set invisible

  • Thanks. We went through steam greenlight, did a youtube trailer and posted about it on reddit and twitter. It didn't end up taking too long to get through greenlight.

    Oh I see!

So no special SEO trick or Marketing involved ?

  • Nice!

Was it hard to get it out on steam?

Did you have to market it or similar?

Well there's other factors in play too. Like device Mac Addresses, etc. But like I said, don't make it obvious to constantly click on ads, but all that will do is trigger Google. It's ok to test once with live ads and they won't suspend your account.

Anyway, after you test with a Test Ad anyway, the live ads will work 99% of the time after you turn it on.

    OH!

I have no plans to sit and press ads myself / play the game myself (As I already completed it like 40 times during testing), but I know for a fact that my parents wants to play it and I do visit them a lot so i'm not sure about admobs and wifi, but should be OK since they wont be using my phone!

I will just the app once before release to see if a google ad load, I don't plan to press it!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • You can.....

But do it on a different IP.

For example, go to a local Starbucks, connect to their wifi and only click the ad once. You will get paid for it after a few hours. They won't suspend your account, if you click it once.

I assume I will need different IP's so they don't catch me up for playing it myself, how would that be if the game would become popular and lots of people play it over the same ip (Like school WIFI ect..)

Or like I release it and my parents test it at their home, and then when I visit them, my account would get suspended (Because I connect to their wifi when I visit them)

  • So I have a question, I emailed the admob team about it over a week ago but never got an answer.

I have added ads to my game and I get the "Test ads here" ingame, I wonder if I can run the game before lauching it without testads ("The real deal") to check that it really works?

    Without pressing any ads ofcourse.

Is that possible or would that get my account suspended?

I just want to check 1 time that I really get Google ads in

  • It decides what fits your game.

Of course you will make more money (probably) if the ads are showed all the time instead of game over screen, but remember that if it gets in the way for gameplay or people find it annoying so could that lead to negative impact on the game (People might quit it)

  • You'd have to post a sample, as there is no way all of that should be needed.

Sorry I cannot post a sample since this is at the end of the game (everything else is done).

Also, can I use Audio preload on like the startup menu, then its preloaded the entire game?
