Woot! I'm tempted to test with a fresh Reboot, and just Chrome running at Full Screen 1080p(only one display running, and nothing else XD). Not sure how the Events are laid out, but also running at a refresh rate of 185hz.
Hell to the Yeah! Look at all them piggies! A steady 352,090 in Chrome Full Screen on my current PC build. While using my second display for other things right now. And, also having a ton of other applications open, atm.
Construct is a beast! Keep up the great work Scirra! Every release gets better and better :)
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend coming up!
Peace,
Colin
Thanks for another great release. The Animations Editor has been getting easier and easier to work in.
I didn't realize the Platform On Collision with a moving platform was a bug. I thought it was just the layout of my Events. XD
Thank you Scirra dev team!
Thank You! :)
Thank you for the great information! I will be referring back to this again, once I get to that road ;)
Righteous! Thanks for fixing up the Animations Editor. This will make life easier, along with the last fixes for the Image Point, and bounding box reverting backwards.
Awesome as always, Scirra team! Thanks for the update :)
Many Thanks to the dev team for fixing up the Animations Editor!
The bounding box, and image points reverting back to where they were originally. Was causing a large amount of wasted time for me. I was not sure it was a bug, or just something in the environment of my system.
It seems to be a way to adjust the vanishing point, via System Expressions. When using a 3D Camera for a three dimensional view to a game. Or even just setting objects to different distances in a 2D game, by adjusting their "Z elevation". Such as setting parallaxing backgrounds to different distances, or even changing where objects are relative to their current Z elevation.
Woot! Another great update! As always, Thanks Scirra Dev Team :)
I see a lot of updates that were recommended in the community. Thanks for the great work as always Scirra dev team, and listening to the community :)
Good to know :). I have a bug report here: github.com/Scirra/Construct-3-bugs/issues/5247
If you want to add your findings there, feel free :). There's been a couple other folks who posted regarding other Addons/Plugins as well. So, Ashley probably already knows it's affecting most, if not all of them.
EDIT: Seems to be an issue between version r272 and Plugins/Addons. github.com/Scirra/Construct-3-bugs/issues/5247
I've been so excited with all of these updates lately! And, so happy with my decision, to trade up another game engine a couple months back, and went back to using Construct for my projects and training courses.
Keep the new features coming Scirra team. I'm always checking out the latest Betas as they are released, and write up articles/create videos on my websites/YouTube about them. Always pointing a link back to your version release notes page. Just spreading the word, and that SEO goodness.
You folks are the best :)
Thank you!
I recently saw a question in the forum for help creating an FPS style camera. I was trying to help, but was having trouble locking the mouse to the screen(preferably the center). As well as creating it so it would look vertically as well as horizontally.
These additions will make creating First Person cameras so much easier! Another amazing update!
Thanks Scirra Team!
^ This ^ (I was thinking the same thing, when I saw the First Person Shooter example from the previous beta release)
