    I'm trying to make a space shooter now but am in the idea phase. I really want to do 3D games but I need to have a released game by then so I can use it in my portfolio to make a team. Or learn how to code myself and make it in unity.

  • Thanks. I'll keep your advice in mind. I have worked on one unfinished construct 2 project when I only had the free version a while ago(staring my avatar pic) I forgot Basicly everything since then though so yea back to basics for me.

  • I really want to get my first game out and I'm sure a lot of you can relate. I want to make a psykio inspired bullet hell shmup. Any free game engine assets as I'm broke after buying the full version. I have this 3D game I want to make in unity so bad. I want to make this game first to get my foot in the proverbial door! Any help would be graciously accepted and cherished. Much love

  • it's totally worth the full price. just wish there was a way to keep building my project while saving up for it, then pay to publish.

  • This is how I am doing it in my game.

    The set width event is (maximum bar size in pixels/100)*percentage to next level calculated above it

    It's rudimentary but it works. I will be replacing the 1.5 multiplier though in the future with an array of set experience requirements.

    could you show a noob how to make the percent at the beginning? would love to implement this in my simple paper mario style game.

  • Thanks so much. couldn't figure out the "Set to Down" part but have everything but the bounce off happening. My game idea needs it though. think not having the set to down part is the reason why?

    Edit: figured out i had to set a negative value to the platform vector y.
