So I'm a total loner who wants advice on group work

Would love to get a group of determined newbies together but I'm sure we all want to do our own things. I love my ideas I just wish I could program. I'm a disabled musician coming to game design as a second medium.

I'm trying to make a space shooter now but am in the idea phase. I really want to do 3D games but I need to have a released game by then so I can use it in my portfolio to make a team. Or learn how to code myself and make it in unity.
