  • I uninstalled the 64-bit version of Construct and installed the 32-bit version and now the minifier works. Yay!

  • I'm having the same problem. Tried it on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and it's still not working. Can anyone shed some light on this?

  • Also, what browser were you using?

  • hmmm, thank you for letting me know! I'm trying to imagine how you could be getting that error. Did you get it after clicking on the Dragon's Numbers button?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Thanks! What kind of errors?

  • Okay, I think I've finally finished it.

I've been working on this off and on for several months, it is my first attempt at a serious game, (critiques appreciated) hope you like it!

  • Thanks, I will.

  • Maybe you could use the objects opacity? Objects have opacity 0 to 100, so you could use the object condition opacity = 100 to test for fade in.

  • If your friends have Construct2 you can send them the capx file. Otherwise, if you have a dropbox account you can export as an html5 file and share in your public folder on dropbox. I have read that newer dropbox accounts don't have the public file, so you will need to make one of your files public. There is a good tutorial scirra.com/tutorials/42/upload-your-game-to-dropbox%20. Hope that helps!

  • Hi, I've made a small game that uses the callJS plugin to call a javascript file that does some calculations. I'm using appMobi (for the first time :) to wrap the game but I've run into a problem...

In the emulator appMobi has no problem with the callJS plugin, but when I test it on the ipad, I get a black screen.

I've made a smaller file for testing and identified that it is, in fact, the callJS plugin that is causing the problem, but I can't figure out what to do about it. I think the problem has something to do with appMobi not being able to find the .js file. I put the file in the bundle and tried adding a line in the head of the index file, but no improvement.

    Does anyone have an idea?

  • Okay, my disappearing object problem seems to be related to the minifier. I'll try to isolate it in a small capx for you.

  • I think I'm having the same problem, but it only occurs in the exported version of my game. My Objects suddenly become invisible, but they are still there. The really frustrating problem is that is works fine when I preview the layout.
