  Have you tried any of the tutorials yet? Many of your questions/problems may be quickly alleviated that way. Remember: GameMaker != Construct, so you will need to understand the way Construct does things.

  hmmm. If the gfx are copyrighted, then it may be prudent to remove them (make your own rough ones?). You wouldn't want anyone - especially this forum - to get into trouble because of it, I'm sure

  BTW you've shown just how powerful Construct is here over GM. Nice example.

  I can confirm installer works (although you may want to mention the change of the default installation path - plugins and effects will need to be moved across, etc), fall through platform works, physics ok as far as I can see (but best wait for an informed view from someone who has experienced the bug).

  Don't know if it helps, but changing from 'Key is down?' to 'On Key Pressed' works (possible workaround?).

  I can't load the cap as it says it was created in a newer version. I'm on Classic v1.

  Just tried this on the default Platformer template and it def doesn't work.

  I thought that rather than a normal football - which wouldn't really be able to destroy the boxes etc, should maybe look like a metal ball. Then it would be able to survive and catapult off the saw.

  I actually thought the saw accelerated the ball the first time I tried it (maybe an idea?). Instead it just restarts the layout, which is OK, but not as impressive
