Are you using the speedtest link from page 1?

If so, and it reports such poor results, then you should contact your provider. There is nothing that anyone here can do to help.

  • Trying adding the tag to make the relevant people aware.

This appears to be a problem for some people downloading releases also.

  • .........."team meat".

    D0oD!

    That's.....sounds......wrong :)

  • Works here also. Firefox 26, Win 7 x64.

  • Is this meant to be an actually bug report? If so, where is the .capx and procedure to replicate.

If it's just a query, then it should be posted in another section.

One thing to check - are you using any non-standard plugins?

It might be worth just testing the Arcade export using one of the built-in examples, just get some peace of mind regarding the process.

Just make sure you are using the very latest version - r154 - and when you select the Arcade export, click the link to automatically go to the submission page.

Hopefully, it will all go well, and at least you'll familiarize yourself with the process (assuming you haven't done it before, obviously).

  • There are still some CC experts who read that section of the forum. You would be better posting your CC queries in the relevant section.

    CC != C2

    There are many differences.

VictoryX Your proposal is a good one, but 80% of Scirra community is outside US.

Hope you will find your team.

Just curious. Where did you get that figure from?

  • It also wont make stand alone .exe files......

Actually, it does. That's what the node-webkit export option is, and creates stand-alones for win32, mac and Linux.

  • Looks like spam to me from architravels. Just report his post.

  • I don't see how this is a bug, just because it doesn't work how you want or expect it to work. I would say rather than a bug, it's possibly missing an extra feature, such as a tick box to indicate to fire immediately, then use rate of fire.

The turret is doing exactly as it's told - wait 5 seconds then fire. It will then fire every 5 seconds if appropriate.

If you want it to fire immediately, then wait for 5 seconds then:

Set the rate of fire to 1, then on shoot, set the rate of fire to 5. It then works how you want.

Surely that's why the Event system gives us access to the turret parameters at runtime? We specifically tell it to behave how we want it to.

  • Just opened your .capx, clicked the tilemap object in the Layout window and went to Tilemap window and could select and edit tilemap as required.

    I can't see a problem.

  • Unpacking routines are usually very similar between products, but packing can be drastically different, e.g. Winzip and 7zip will both follow certain guidelines when unpacking a zip file, but when creating one, the algorithm may not be exactly the same.

  • That did the trick :)

Confirmed - at least for us.
