  Is your player moving at a constant speed before it overlaps? If so, then just have a variable that is called max_speed and when not overlapping, set player speed to variable.

  As Aphrodite says - and as is shown in my .capx - you need to use the system 'On Canvas snapshot' condition, which determines when the snapshot has been created.

  I just did a quick test and it worked fine for me.

  Try the .capx by pressing 'S' after running.

  There is a javascript SDK for creating plugins, but creating a plugin for python would be more than difficult I would think.

  Have you set the Physics ball property 'Collision mask' to circle? That helps to increase realism.

  Please don't take this the wrong way but I don't understand your post. The tutorials you are referencing are not really relevant to the OP's query regarding canvas object.

  In the Plugins section are 2 plugins from R0j0hound called Canvas and Paster. Maybe either of these may be helpful.

  Paster is like an updated canvas.

  The file you've linked to is no good. You need to 'Save as single file' which produces a .capx. You can then attach that to your post.

  3. Depends on what experience you currently have with C2. Have you read the manual? Done some of the tutorials? Looked at the templates? Looked at the arcade? Have you previous game creation knowledge?
