  • I'm on same FF so doubt if that's the issue.

What about GPU? What have you got and when was it updated? I'm using the latest Geforce WHQL drivers (not beta - beta sometimes bad!).

I must be very lucky as I've hardly ever had an issue with C2 - the odd freeze, but all programs/OS do that periodically.

Does going back a C2 build fix the problem? Maybe back to stable?

Maybe try a clean install - delete or move C2 folder after uninstalling, delete reg settings, reboot then reinstall.

Soz mate - can't think of anything else at the mo.

  • DUTOIT

I've got the same OS and C2 build as you and I'm not encountering any problems previewing.

Has anything else on your system changed recently, i.e. what ver of FF are you on, plugins installed, etc....

Have you recently updated your OS or installed any programs?

Did you previously have no issues?

  • Release notes for r202: https://www.scirra.com/construct2/releases/r202

    specifically this:

[quote:zemdwe8c]Scirra Arcade plugin is hidden in the editor, since the Arcade is not taking submissions until the new Arcade is ready

Only Tom can say when it will be ready.

  • I think that considering there is only one programmer who is currently trying to maintain and update C2 as well as develop the new C3, your suggestion - although not without merit - will probably not be implemented in the near future.

  • Very useful. Well done.

    Many thanks.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Have you tried 'Preferences/Reset Dialogs' ?

    Do you use multiple monitors?

    Not a bug.

It's due to the collision polygon of your floor objects. They were not at the same level - the edge was 1 pixel lower, so it stopped your enemy sprite.

Just set them all to bounding box to fix.

  • I think in order to help you quickly and more efficiently, you will need to either provide snapshots of your events or, more preferable, provide your current .capx.

You can save as a single file and post the link from - for instance Dropbox - here, but add a space after the http as you don't have enough rep to post links yet.

  • The manual (https://www.scirra.com/manual/181/video) is very clear on this.

Just import the relevant format(s) as Project files into the Project window on the top right, then fill in the Video Object's propertiy options for the type of video imported in the property sheet on the bottom left.

  • It could be anything - from the way you've setup your scrolling; the way you're moving your sprites, etc, but without a .capx, it's hard to say why.

  • The .capx is totally corrupted and is no longer usable as it's missing a lot of it's folder structure, such as the 'Textures' folder. There is nothing anyone can do to retrieve this.

Hopefully you'll have setup the automatic Save and Backup options.

  • Maybe so, but I'm from the 24th Century - see my pic - and C3 STILL isn't available

  • No, I paid full price for C3.

    errrr what now?

C3 is not even on the horizon, so how did you pay full price?
