    Do you realize you have responded to a 3 year old thread from the (now retired) Construct Classic section?

    Also, it's worth checking a User's profile, as then you would have seen that superpowerjoe hasn't been on this forum for over 3 years.

  • Without seeing the project it is impossible to say whether anything can be recovered.

    Have you tried the .autosave file or .backup files?

    Just remove the extension to leave the .capx suffix and double click to open in C2. Do any of them work?

  • So you can only do one or another option? i mean you cant get behind a wall that you put to bottom and you cant get to front of a wall that you put to top of the layer. But i wanted to know is that possible to be invisible behind a wall and be visible in front of it? Like in old isometric 2d games

    It's quite easy.

    Compare the y-component of your sprite against the wall's y-component and set the z-index accordingly.

    It seems that it is flipping through only the levels on the in the level bar

    but I tried taking them down and nothing happened

    This isn't a bug.

    The reason it flips through all levels is because of Event 37 that says every tick, goto next layout.

    This should never have been posted here. The correct place for this would be the 'How Do I' section, as there are so many things wrong with this.

    I don't want to be harsh, but I would seriously advise you to (re)read the manual and do the tutorials.

  • r212 was broken. That's why Ashley quickly released the .2 update.

    Reverting to a broken version is just ridiculous.

  • Tested your .capx in Firefox, IE and NWjs (latest alpha) in C2 r218.

    All worked perfectly.

    May be worth uninstalling C2, deleting the registry setting for C2 (be VERY careful), reboot and reinstall C2.

    There is nothing a mod can do regarding licensing as we don't work for Scirra.

    Everything you need to know is covered in the manual entry Using a license, especially the paragraph that starts "The license file: c2license.txt".

    As it says, you will be sent a redeem code via email (check spam folder just in case) and this is used in the store HERE to get your license file. Download the license file and follow the manual entry I referenced earlier.

    If you are still having problems, then email and Tom will happily help you out.

    Easiest thing to do is to get the school to update - many bugs have been fixed since 212.
