  • I want to get an idea for how plausible this would be to create. The idea is that the player can shoot a rope at a designated area, then swing from there to the other side, similar to the rope swings in Sonic 3 but the player can make them spawn at certain locations. Would this be a possibility in Construct 2? If so what would be the best approach to making this kind of system?

    Why would you think that?

    Using invisible sprites as triggers is a fundamental part of programming. In your case it might be OK but impossible to say.

    Without seeing your Events, .capx etc it is not really possible to offer any meaningful guidance.

    Just in case, check you collision polygons are correct and not overlapping.

  • Hi, first of all thanks for this amazing software . I’ve just tried to update c2 216& nw 0-12-0 with c2 221& nw 0-13-b4. My game now uses about 80% CPU in debug, profile mode. With the previous version, the same identical project used only about 45%...I’ve noticed that the amount seems only in the draw calls part….i use many plugins, as Spriter … Anyone knows why?
