  • seems like that, will try once tomorrow morning too.... Good night people!

  • sorry but I don't have any families in my project...

  • Email coming your way Tom, thank you!

  • I'm having the same problem as last time uploading my game with the error "Zip contains file extensions not on the whitelist". I'm 100% positive that it doesn't contain anything that is not supported by the arcade. I have also not changed any behaviors or plugins (beside adding webstorage and only supported calls) since the last version of my game that already is uploaded in the arcade....

Need to update my game for the competition....

  • Nice first game, this would be great for ipad.

  • Pretty fun game and nice graphic for a 2D game, the only thing that was a bit annoying for me was that you have to touch something to shoot the gravity beam, instead of just click an direction.

  • One other thing that is quite important is how easy it is to find these programs.

My way was to check game making programs in wikipedia where Construct 2 is not present.

Only Construct classic is present en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Construct_(software)

Whilst Stencyl have a major page at:

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stencyl

  • Why not use some of the excellent free music in your game. Then when you have more people playing it, it would make more sense for publishers tow ork with you...

  • Thank you very much for the great feedback, it's much harder than I thought to find the right combination of skill and difficulty.

I will implement quite some changes in the next version that will be uploaded to the arcade in the coming days.

  • Great that you did this! Was these test using phonegap?

  • I think what Nemo is trying to ask is why cant he take ex. an ipad and surf to his game on his website and play it there...

What you can try nemo is see if you can play the games on Scirra Arcade

  • Thank you all, fun to hear that you like it! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Will continue to develope and fine tune it, and my goal is that it should be playable on an ipad.

  • Ashley, you have done it! Seems to be working fine again with adding local variables and sub events, great job!

  • Yea looks like that, didn't suspect that it was a problem with the sub event, thought it was only with arrays and local variables. Sorry for double post then!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Construct crash when having event "On start of layout" and add sub event "For each XY in array", the program crash/freeze (some times crash, some times freeze)

    *Update*

I can create the event "on start of layout" and "for each xy element" separately and then drag the "for each xy element" into a sub event of "on start of layout" without a crash...

    *Update 2*

When trying to add an local variables, I get following error:

    ---------------------------

    Construct 2 Check failure

    ---------------------------

Check failure! This is probably a bug:

Getting event sequence number from event without one assigned

    Condition: sequence_number != 0

    File: Projects\Event.cpp

    Line: 30

Function: unsigned int __cdecl Event::GetEventSequenceNumber(void) const

    Build: release 80 (64-bit) checked

    Component: Construct 2 IDE

    (Last Win32 error: 0)
